About Me
I am a Registered Childminder graded “Good” in all areas. I have been a childminder since 1995 I am registered with my local authority and I am inspected by OFSTED as is my home in order to operate as a childminder.I am DBS (disclosure & barring service) checked, as is anyone who lives at my address over the age of 16 I am also a member of PACEY (Professional association for childcare and early years) and have Public Libility Insurance.
I offer a home from home enviornment with lots of cuddles and we do lots of fun, stimulating and educational activites such as Arts & crafts, local outings, parks, libraries, reading, writing & maths and much more ! I actively follow the Early Years Foundation Stage which helps me develop and deliver activities in order for the children to further develop and achieve in all areas of their individual development. The children each have their own 'Activity Book' which will have some the childrens own work, my observations, assessments & planning of activities and photo's of the children doing activities all of which helps parents see how their children are developing and how they spend their day at my setting.
My Experience
I am a mother of 2 grown children and use to work outside of the home so know how important it is to have excellent & reliable childcare which I can offer.
I have been registered since 1995 and have worked with families from various backgrounds with children ranging from the ages of 0 - 12 years so have experience with childrens development at all stages.
My Qualifications
When first registered I attended a 'childminding' course so hold a certificate of Registration in addtion I have completed and hold certificates in:
Paediactric First Aid
Safeguarding Children
Early Years Foundation Stage for childminders
NVQ Level 3 in childcare learning & development
As a registered childminder I am also DBS checked * Some childminder’s do not hold their own certificates, bexley council do in my case and I also have public liabililty insurance, both are mandatory requirements

My hours of business are: Monday - Friday 7.30am - 6.30pm
