About Me

Dear Parents
Highly experienced and qualified Early Years Educator/Nanny with an EY degree looking for a nanny job in London.

About me:

Eleven years ago, I wanted to come here to the UK to challenge myself out of my comfort zone and practice English. So, I began to work as a live-in au pair (anyway, I am an advertising and marketing manager), but I have fallen in love with the childcare profession. I love children because their love is the most honest, and they accept you as you are, and you can learn and teach so much from and to them. It is wonderful to work with these little people and support and guide them to be great adults.

From my plenty of years of nanny experiences, I am aware that if you work with children, patience is essential. Safeguarding, responsibility, sense of humour, creativeness, fantasy, problem-solving, partnership working (not with just the children but with the parents and professionals), and flexibility are essential, but the most important is love This is the main engine of this profession.

Actually, my amazing SEN teacher friend told me before we went to college that I should have chosen the teaching profession as I have a sense of it. She was right. Working with children has become my passion, so since I started as an au-pair, I keep on developing my professional skills. I am very determined and open-minded and passionate about childcare.

My passion is evident as I have done the necessary training and become an Ofsted registered private nanny. Whilst I was nannying, I decided to take the next step in my professional development and become a qualified Early Years Professional. Besides, I started to work in an amazing nursery setting too in Oxford. I have been working there for more than four years as a senior Early Years Educator whilst I was nannying, too. I was eager to complete numerous trainings towards my professional development. As my passion and ambition took me further and further, I completed my degree in Early Childhood Studies at Oxford Brookes University. At university, I could develop a deeper understanding of how to provide an even better service for families. My favourite module was about little one’s emotional development. I even wrote my thesis about the lockdown's impact on children's emotional well-being.

After university, to challenge myself further, I moved to another nursery to Reading to extend my professional experiences. I have also completed further numerous childcare related trainings from Child Psychology to Attention Autism. I am more than happy to provide certificates.

Recently, I was a live out private nanny working for a fantastic family looking after a little girl who is my sunshine. I worked for this family for a year, but the little girl started nursery full time, so currently I am working in a nursery again in Reading. Although, even if I am not far, I intend to move back to London soon to be even closer to my best friend who works there as a nanny too. I have always enjoyed living in London and I am familiar with London as I was living there for five years as a live-in nanny. I was so honoured to work for and live with different families and become a member of their families. I spent years with most of my families, where I worked as a live-in nanny, creating and maintaining a great bond with the children and their parents. I can provide excellent references from them.

If you are looking for someone passionate, hardworking, and fun and having lots of nanny experiences paired up with hands-on knowledge and practice in early years, I am your person.

I am looking for a live-in nanny position from May 2025 in London.

I am looking for a family in London who could provide me with at least 40 hours or a maximum of 45 hours of work a week and am happy to use a payroll service for employment.

If you are interested, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I am looking forward to hearing about you.

Kind regards,

Alexandra Trecsko (Sandy)

Best wishes

Sandy

Sandy has been an absolute blessing to our family, providing top-notch care for our baby for over one year. Her warmth, kindness, patience and dedication are truly exceptional. She is highly energetic and comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience in childcare. She creates a warm and nurturing environment, making our little one feel safe, loved and cheerful. She has evolved from a caregiver to a trusted companion and a loving presence in our baby's and our lives. Our child absolutely adores her and she is a constant source of comfort, security and joy for her. Her reliability, flexibility, and excellent communication skills have been invaluable to us.
