My Summary
About Me
I have been working as a nanny for 12 years now with a variety of different aged children this experience gives me a broad knowledge of working with children right through to 16. I have a CACHE Diploma level 3 that enables me to work with children from 0-16 years. I completed a child psychology course most recently mostly to make sure that I’m always staying relevant to the way children may develop. I currently work part time as a nanny for 3 children between2-6 years, where we spend most of the time engaging in activities based around their interests and going on days out to explore the world around them. I also help with daily routines, promoting learning, providing positive experiences and helping to keep up with some small household duties. I often plan things with children such as walks going to the park, and craft activities especially during seasonal occasions.
I’ve also worked as a carer for an adult male (23) on a weekend where we did some of the recreational things he enjoys doing, alongside helping to encourage good social skills.
My Experience
I have been working from a young age I received my first job in a café when I was just 13. As I have become more qualified I have changed my job to suit my qualifications here is a list of my nanny roles over the last 11 years. With the ages of the children when I left the role.

Nanny position Aug 15 - October 16 2 year old twins and a 3year old
Current Job January 17- to Nov 22 9 year old 8 year old 4year old and a 3 year old.
Carers role January 2012-October 2022 (23 year old)
September 2023- Jan 2024 Nanny position 4 year old
Jan 2024- to date Nanny position 6 year old 4 year old and 2 year old
My Qualifications
I attended Thomas Peacock school and I achieved 13 GCSEs in my time there between C's and B's. I then went on to attend Hastings college where I chose to do a Level 3 CACHE Diploma in Childcare to which I received a C. I was also given the opportunity to attend a Level 1 British Sign Language course in which I also achieved a pass in. Over the time I have worked with family’s I have gained a large amount of experience with working with a family and slotting into what benefits them most.. I am also paediatric first aid trained. I renewed this course recently as advised. My most recent course covers some basics in child psychology of which I have finished and passed.
My Availability
At the moment I only have part time availability left, I am looking to either occasionally bring my daughter Beatrice with me or work a couple of days where I can find her childcare. She is currently 1 1/2 years old and already in a steady routine which has made slotting into a family’s day seamless.

my 1 year old loves spending time with Jodie, she comes once a month, often joined with her sweet daughter and my son ( and me ) are sad to see to them leave everytime.
Jodie makes you feel comfortable about leaving your child in her care, peice of mind is so important and she really is very considerate, professional and friendly. I'm so glad I found her!
I highly recommend Jodie for your babysitting or nannying needs.
Jody looked after our little girl 1 and little boy 3. They loved their time with her and wouldn’t hesitate to have Jodie’s help again! Would highly recommend
I have used Jodie on a number of occasions for babysitting, some being at very short notice. Jodie is great and has been able to settle my son while I have been out. Would 100% recommend Jodie.
Jodie very quickly built a relationship with my 2 year old daughter who she nannies once a week. Jodie's calm and caring demeanor puts my daughter at ease. She's great at taking her for little outings to the playground or library or they will be happily playing at home. Jodie is also very flexible and will do the odd extra day if needed and is exceptionally good at juggling my daughter, her own baby and on occasion her older boys too! We 100% trust Jodie to care for our little one and highly recommend her to anyone!
Very professional and friendly. Children adore her. Thanks Jodie!
