About Me
I am a Ofsted Registered Childminder, and have been Registered for 19 years now. I have been happily married for 24 years and have 2 children, daughter who is 21 years old currently at university, and a son who is 36 years old, who lives at his own house, with his little family. I have a Diploma level 3 in Child Care and Learning Development and also worked for the borough LBB&D in the Children Centers as a Nusery/Creche worker. I'm friendly, approachable and a caring person and am flexible. I can also offer full-time or part-time hours. I also had my OFSTED Inspection and was awarded a GOOD for my setting in 2012, and my second OFSTED Inspection in March 2014 and all needs were Met. Also had my third Ofsted inspection in October 2021, and all needs were met. I also have a qualified Childcare Assistant working in my settings, who also worked as a Pre-school Key worker for 5 years. I'm also joining the Childcare Network CCF (Children Come First ) as i provide quality care for all the children that come to my setting. As from June 2024, I will have a qualified B A HONS , QTS Primary education teacher, working in my settings, so will also be able to help / offer support to primary school children with their homework etc.
My Experience
I have lots of experience working with children of all ages and stages, i was a creche supervisor and also worked in the nurseries in B&D in our local Children Centres for the LBBD, i also have experience in working in an after school club, and worked in schools as a key person.
My Qualifications
My qualification are NVQ Level 2 in Childcare and CCLD Level 3 in childcare, and also Level 1 & 2 in Literacy and Numeracy. Piadactric First aid and Health and Safety. Safeguarding qualification. I also have Knowledge and Understanding of the EYFS and Behaviour and SENCO, and also been on Fire Safety training.
My Availability
I am available from Mon-Fri, the hours are 7.00am to 6.30 pm - 7 pm, pick up from local schools around my area Dagenham, which are: Beam, Marsh Green or William Ford. I also do school drop off or school pick ups, I do not work bank holidays. I also provide care in the school holidays. I have also extended my service to out of hours care, if you have that special occasion for you and your partner/ husband to be able to spend some quality time alone, never fear Cheryl is here. Weekend childcare also available.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
My fees are quiet reasonable which is £5:50 per hour or £250 a wk,for full time care, but it also depends on the number of hours required, and prices are negociable. If you require childcare to start before 8am, and childcare after 6pm, the fee will be £7:00 for unsociable hours. Meals are not included in the price, for breakfast it is 75p, snack 50p, and lunch, can be provided at a small cost of £2 .50 per child. Parents are required to provide meals for children under 2 years of age. Parents can provide a pack lunch for their child /children. All meals provided are cooked freshly on a day to day basis. Weekend fee is £9.50 per hour. If you require school drop off and pick up, they will also be a added fee for fuel of £2 per day. I also will provide overnight childcare, @ £8.50 per hour

Cheryl became the childminder to our daughter around 1 year ago and we have not looked back. She is fantastic at what she does, and our daughter (and my wife and I!) are constantly singing her praises at home. She is a complete professional and undertakes her role with great effectiveness and efficiency. We are regularly kept updated on the activities of our daughter undertake under her care. We are delighted with Cheryl to date and long may that continue. Keep up the great work!

Cheryl used to look after my son from when he was 1,5 years old for two years until he started Nursery at the age of 3,5 years. She got amazing settings as the conservatory room where children spend most of the time looks very impressive, I could easily compare it to mini-nursery with a wide variety of toys, books and also plenty of outdoor activities. My son always was very happy to be spending his days at Cheryl's. Regular and healthy meals with variety of veggies on the side, regardless if my son ate it or not, she would always encourage him. Also a nap time was greatly organised with children sleeping on the sleeping mats, sometimes she would have 4 or 5 children and would manage to make them all sleep, which I was always very impressed about. Lots of arts and crafts, learning numbers, colours (my son by the age of 3 knew all the colours and that is only thank to Cheryl), making pancakes for Pancake Day and celebrating other important events. I would highly recommend Cheryl as a childminder but would bear in mind that her services always been in high demand because of the quality service and children don't tend to leave unless they start school or move to other area.

Cheryl has been looking after my son from when he was 10 months and he is now 2. I have been very happy to leave him in her care as she has been fantastic in helping enhance his development from baby to toddler stage through the different activities she teaches the kids.
She is very good with key things like discipline and helping child quickly learn and pick up on daily activities ,singing rhymes etc. My son enjoys playing with other kids there too.
I would recommend Cheryl to any mother who is looking for the right childminder for their child as she has proved to us that she is very capable.

Cheryl is a childminder for my child, i have a good experience with her. She is flexible, dedicated and reliable.
My child enjoys going to her, My child has developed very much physically and intellectually since Cheryl started caring for him. I am at peace doing my work when ever my child is in her care, Cheryl is trustworthy and also gentle with the kids in her care.
i will like to recommend Cheryl to anyone looking for a good, qualified childminder in her area.
