My Summary
About Me
I am a British certified Sleep & Feeding Consultant and Maternity Nurse. For over 25 years I have worked in private homes supporting parents with infants from newborn to preschool. As a parent myself, I know that caring for infants can sometimes be an emotional roller coaster. I have a naturally gentle approach with a great deal of patience.
My Experience
Sleep is essential for everyone and especially for an an infants’ development and well being. Studying sleep and sleep science has enabled me to share my in-depth knowledge with parents, to the benefit of babies and children all over world. I practice gentle sleep settling techniques with younger babies to set good sleep roots from early on and after a full background history check, teach age appropriate sleep friendly routines to infants over 6 months old and encourage better quality sleep for the whole family. Based just West of London I cover all areas of the UK as well as Europe and further afield. I simply love caring for babies and gently guiding their parents. I mainly work through referrals and recommendation but I also welcome new parents, so please get in touch and see how I can help.

Liz came to help us after the (c-secton) birth of our second child. We were initially a bit uncomfortable with the idea of a “stranger’ in the house but trusted Liz straight away and she fitted into our family so seamlessly. Liz looked after both me and baby so well and you can tell she really cares about the families she cares for. My toddler also really loved her and it made the transition for him much easier having her around. Liz was so helpful with literally everything (breast feeding, bottle feeding, newborn care, toddler care, sleep, recovery and reassurance when you most need it!). She also has a sixth sense for anticipating what you need before you ask for it! Liz was a wonderful and essential support, and being able to ask for advice beyond the time with us has been extremely helpful. In short, we recommend Liz wholeheartedly.

Thanks for your kind words Josephine. It's a joy to work with such a lovely family.
With our first baby my husband and I were completely ignorant on how to take care of a baby. Liz was with us on my return from the hospital and was simply the best on all possible aspects. I trusted her right away when we first met few month before giving birth. Without any kind of baby knowledge she taught us everything we should know. constantly adjusting to the situation. She is a caring, gentle and has a very pleasant, generous personality. She is highly trained and has massive experience. She has adapted to the situation that changed constantly. To start i though we would need Liz during the day only but when the baby was here she accepted right away to do the nights as i was not well from post c-section. She took care of our baby girl and took care of me and my well being, she has been key to me, making the first 2 months of my baby's life as smooth as possible for all of us. worth the money!
I contacted Liz to help me with my 4 month old son who refused to take daytime naps and constantly had to be fed to sleep. He was overtired, irritable and obviously lacking in sleep. This was affecting his moods and feeding habits, so I was desperate for help.
I had read so many books and online articles about how to get a baby to nap, but none of the methods they recommended had worked for me. I needed someone who could meet my son in person and devise a strategy for us.
Liz assured me that she did not use the Cry It Out method, which I was glad to hear.
When she arrived my son warmed to her immediately. She came at 7am and left at 7pm each day, to get a good understanding of exactly why my son was not napping. She was non judgemental and her methods were gentle. By the 3rd day my son was self soothing himself to sleep. I can now put him to sleep awake and he will fall asleep by himself. Also when he wakes up in the middle of the night (and I am confident that he's not hungry) he is able to self-settle himself back to sleep.
In addition to helping us with sleep, Liz was also extremely generous with her knowledge about babies. As she has years of experience as a Maternity Nurse she was able to give me so many tips on my sons development. She even kindly sent me lots of useful information regarding teething and eventually weaning, when he's older.
I would highly recommend Liz to any family struggling with their child's sleep, (regardless of the age of the child).
I contacted this lady on the recommendation of a friend when my 7 month old was waking every two hours at night and I am glad I did call her. She is kind, caring and very professional. We even saw some really positive results in the three days she was in our home and with a lot less crying than I had anticipated.
Initially, I was worried that she would push me into doing things I wouldn't be comfortable with. On the contrary, she looked at the whole 'picture', feeding, playing, sleeping, his nursery etc. and gave me options allowing me to choose what I thought was best for my little boy. Best of all she didn't make me feel like I had done it all wrong, rather she encouraged me and gave me the confidence to know I was making the right choices. Instead of having to feed my baby back to sleep every two hours all night I now have a happy and healthier baby who, if he does wake up in the night, babbles happily before going back to sleep by himself. My husband and I are also benefitting from a good nights sleep too.
In short, I highly recommend this wonderful lady to anyone wanting a good nights sleep!
