My Summary
About Me
Tracey Garrod Childminding Service. I have been a registered childminder for 17 years now. I live in a semi-detached house with a very large garden I also have a designated playground for the children which is safe and secure so they can spend time outdoors in the fresh air having fun. It’s equipped with climbing frame, slide, seesaw huge chalk board, water play and a ball pit for the smaller children. I have canopy’s in there to shade the children if the weather gets hot. I have 19 year old twins (a boy and a girl). I have been married for 29 years and we are a very happy and fun family. I am a car owner and am insured for business so i can transport minded children. I can offer your child a secure and friendly experience with lots of fun and laughter for them so that they enjoy there time they spend with me, my references from past and present parents speak volumes they are the best way of advertising my service and i am very proud of these. I offer settling in periods so you and your child can come and experience my setting first hand, this helps overcome any concerns you may have gives you a chance to ask any questions you may need answering. If interested please give me a call and arrange a visit. Please leave me a message and i will aim to get back to you as soon as i get the messsage from childcare.co.uk. i am also registered for the free for 2 entitlement that the government are offering to parents with a child aged 2 years whose parents claim certain benefits(ie income support tax credits BUT NOT WORKING TAX CREDITS) to give them the opportunity for up to 15 hours a week free childcare for more information about how to get this brilliant service you could call into seashells in sheerness and mention your interested in the service and they will give you a form to fill in. They will ask whom you wish to undertake the free service with and if you are interested in me then you just mention my name.. Another service i can provide is the 3/4 years pre-school service. This is the same as you would get at a nursery or playschool at the age of 3 your child becomes entitled to free 15 hrs a week funding.
My Experience
I have 17 years experience as a childminder. My ofsted reports are easily accessed but i do keep copies for parent references and i am pleased with my outcomes which have always been 'Good'. Myself, my husband and my children have been DBS checked. I have a diploma in Homebased Childcare with an 'A' pass. I hold certificates for the following training: Paediatric first aid, Birth to 3 matters, Early years training, Child protection. I have references from past and present parents for anyone to look at should you be interested in my service. I follow the early years guidlines like all the nurserys and pre-school providers, I undertake observations on children from 0 - 5 years, this is to help your child to become ready for the early years of pre-school. i can identify strengths and weaknesses and work on areas that need to be improved. As i said above i can also offer offer the nursery 3/4 government funding which is basically the same as your child would get if you send them to a nursery only i can provide the 15 hours free funding per week term time only in my home setting. This can be shared between myself and a nursery should you wish to do it this way. Also for parents on certain benefits i.e tax credits, income support but NOT working tax credits i can offer free for 2 funding, again this is 15 hours a week for your 2 year old child term time only and you do not have to be in employment for this it is a service to provide children with the opportunity to learn and play. I also have experience with children with ADHD and have learnt a lot through my experiences with the child and parents.

My son has been going to trac for nearly 6 years, He started when he was 1 and since then she has helped him so much, from helping potty training, speaking, learning, prepping him for school. Since starting school they said how well he was doing and this falls back on trac and what she has done with him. He loves going to her house and that’s because of trac and her wonderful family, he doesn’t see trac as a childminder he sees her as family. And so do me and my partner. You have been amazing trac and I can’t thank you enough x
Tracey has been looking after my children for 5 months now and i can not explain what a difference she has made to their lives my daughter who has just started school loves tracey and she warmed to her and her family immediately and my son who is 22 months has come along amazingly his speech has improved and his manners and most importantly he is excited to go to her home and play. I could not think of anyone else to recommend, shes amazing and even when she hasnt got the children she is still there i can easily text or call her if i have any worries or parenting questions, Tracey is not only a childminder she is also a friend and a great one at that! x
Tracey has been my childminder for 7 years. My daughter who is now 12 has a fantastic relationship with Tracey to the point were she calls her auntie Tracey. Tracey used to pick my daughter up after school and have her on the odd day when I needed her. Tracey now looks after my son and has done since he was 6 months. My son suffered with really bad reflux and i was a little nervous to return to work but tracey was really good and put my mind at rest and dealt with it the same way i did at home. Tracey and her family have been very welcoming to both my children and they adore her. Tracey takes My son to groups which he really enjoys, he is always doing something and not just stuck in watching tele. He really enjoys the summers round there as she has a lovely big garden. There are always lots of resources out and plenty for the children to do. Tracey goes above and beyond in her job. I feel safe to leave my son in her care and would recommend at a drop of a hat. Tracey could charge a lot more for the outstanding service she provides but she's is not in it for the money and she loves her job and the children. As we all know its hard enough to leave our children and return to work and I've had some bad experience in the past with childcare but Tracey is fantastic!!!! my son leaves her house he always says bye Tracey love you.
Tracey is an amazing childminder, my daughter, sophia has been with tracey since she was 9 months old and I'm so happy that I found her. She treats all her children like her own, Takes them to groups and to town which is only a 5 minute walk. Sophia has leant so much with her time at traceys and has come on leaps and bounds. Sophia gets so excited when we pull up to traceys house as she knows she's going to have a great day ahead of her. I'm so lucky that me and my daughter has tracey in our life. Would recomend to anyone!

Argh thankyou lauren i am glad to have you and your family in my life to sophia is a bundle of joy and always brings a smile to my face. xx
My daughter has been looked after by Tracey since she was a few months old and absolutely idolises her....she is now 6years old.
Tracey makes every child and parent feel so welcome and I never felt worried or apprehensive by leaving her in Tracey's care. When Freya comes home she is always talking about what they have done, Tracey encourages play in their large child friendly garden, she has also taken Freya on different trips, a few weeks ago she took the children to a pottery shop where the children took part in making their own pieces....mine sits pride of place in my living room. Any child is welcomed into their home and is treated as part of the family...
I would highly recommend Tracey to any mother or father and you would have the peace of mind knowing your child is being so well looked after.
