About Me
Hi my name melanie, better known as Mel.
I am a newly registered as a childminder but have worked in the childcare sector since 2003.
I live in St Anns and will be offering childcare from my home where I live with my 18 yr old daughter, my 6 yr old son and 9 month old grandson.
I am the 9th sibling of 10 which shows I have been babysitting neices and nephews from an early age!!! I think this explains my passion of working with children.
I have 5 children of my own, 4 boys and 1 girl aged between 34 and 6, I also have 6 grandsons.
I aim to offer a safe nurturing environment for children, ensuring they are learning during play, following the early years foundation guidelines.
My setting will be multicultural and I will respect any dietary requirements parents may have. my house is very homely offering a nice spaced play area inside and out.
I live local to many amenities so walks to the shops, playgroups parks and the farm will be enjoyed by all.
Indoor activities will include baking, arts and crafts, painting as well as children's choice activities.
My Experience
I have worked in Nurseries across Nottingham since 2003, working with babies from 6 months to children upto 8 years.
My Qualifications
My qualifications are nvq 2 and nvq 3 childcare and education.

My Availability
My availability is monday - friday 7.30 - 6pm including school holidays. I will not be available for weekends or bank holidays. I can offer school drop off and pick up at sycamore academy only as my 6 yr old attends this school.

My Fees
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
My fees are £5 per hour which include all meals and some outings.

My daughter had a great time with Mel! She keeps asking me when she can go back to aunty Mel's house.
