About Me
I am the owner of a commercial interior fit-out business, operating from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with occasional overnight trips for work. At home, I live with my 10-year-old daughter, Elsie, and my 29-year-old daughter, Grace.
My Requirements
We’re looking for a caring and proactive nanny to join our family and help support our child’s homeschooling journey alongside tutors. If you have SEN experience and a passion for helping children thrive, we’d love to hear from you!
? Homeschooling Support (with Tutor Assistance):
Work closely with tutors to support engaging and fun learning sessions.
Help reinforce what’s been taught by offering extra one-on-one support when needed.
Keep the day structured and balanced, blending tutor-led lessons with independent and creative activities.
Adapt learning activities to suit our child’s needs, focusing on Highly Masking Girl / autism-friendly strategies.
Share regular updates with us and the tutors about how things are going.
Bring in fun, hands-on activities (think arts, crafts, and sensory play) to keep learning exciting!
? Special Educational Needs (SEN) Care:
Use gentle, positive approaches to support emotional regulation and social skills.
Be patient, understanding, and ready to handle any tricky moments calmly.
Work together with us (and any therapists) to make sure our child feels fully supported.
Encourage independence while always being there with reassurance and guidance.
? General Nanny Duties:
Prepare tasty, healthy meals and snacks throughout the day.
Keep the home tidy, organised, and safe — especially the learning/play areas.
Plan fun sensory-friendly outings, outdoor adventures, and playdates.
Encourage life skills and support positive social interactions in everyday activities.
? What We’re Looking For:
Experience working with children with highly maskeg autism or other SEN is essential.
A background in homeschooling support, especially working alongside tutors.
Someone warm, patient, and creative, with a real passion for helping children grow.
Strong understanding of SEN strategies and child development.
An enhanced DBS check and up-to-date first aid certification.
We’re hoping to find someone who can become a valued part of our family’s team and make a real difference in our child’s day-to-day life. ?
