About Me
My name is Yasmeen. I am a registered childminder with The Care inspectorate. I now have an assistant working with me. I am also registered to provide overnight care. I live with my two girls Aisha who is 15 years old and Sara who is 12 years old. I am already involved in school and nursery runs and happy to take on a few more. I was working as a childminder in partnership with my friend who is also a registered childminder with the Care inspectorate. We both provided the service at her house. Unfortunately things did not work out so we decided to finish the partnership but to continue to provide the service at our own homes. I have now been providing a childminding service from my own home for a year.
I was enrolled on the BSC Orthoptics course at Glasgow Caledonian University in September 2014. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances I had to withdraw from it. I already hold a BSC in Ophthalmic Dispensing.
I decided to do childminding as it will give me time with my daughters as well as other children, and use my expertise to help them in their stages of education and learning.
My Experience
My experience with children is first of all I have two beautiful daughters of my own. I now have been childminding for a year and have a lot of experience with a variety of age groups. I also help out friends who require childcare while they are working. I have been told that they are at peace of mind when they leave their children with me. They are happy to provide references if required. I have looked after my sisters children even before my own children so I have experience with children from birth. I love looking after children and watching them play. I am caring and hardworking by nature. My aim is to give a professional, reliable and quality childminding service. I will provide the children in my care with a supervised environment that is safe, warm and centered to their needs. I will be offering appropriate and varied experiences that support the development of the children in my care. I love making children happy and enjoy seeing the smiles on their faces. I personally think it’s the environment you create and how the children are cared for that’s important.
I have a garden which is enclosed . It recently has had work done in it to make it safe and appealing for children.
I believe organisation is very important. I am a very organised person. I plan my day with the children well in advance taking into consideration the age groups. I make sure I have a variety of activities planned for the day involving some learning as well as lots of fun and trips to the park, library and soft play centres.
My journey through education from primary school right through to university has given me very good experience in how to use my knowledge to teach children thorough there learning years. It gives me great pleasure to be able to put my knowledge to good use to teach children aswell as care for them and make learning great fun!

I am available to provide care through the school holidays also weekends. I also provide emergency childcare. I also have a 7 seater car and offer either a pick or drop service to your home depending on space. At the moment I have limited spaces available during the school holidays it is at first come first served basis which later on will lead to a waiting list. Please contact me regarding care during school holidays as there is a very high demand during holiday time.

My son at to go to Yasmeen’s at 13 months. He’s so clingy and doesn’t want to move an inch away from me. Surprisingly when it’s time to go to Yasmeen’s in the morning, he is always very eager to leave home and when he gets back as well, he is always super excited and happy.
My daughter though attends nursery as well, is always looking forward to the days she’s going to Yasmeen’s with her brother. I’m so happy with the care she provides the kids. Thank you Yasmeen!

My baby boy have been with Yasmeen since April this year. He started at almost 9 months old and I was so nervous to leave him at such young age but Yasmeen has made the all adaptation process easy. She is a warm hearted individual and very professional, always in communication with us listening, reassuring and even offering suggestions as she is an expert on this field. And we know this as we can see now how much our boy loves her and the environment, every morning he is happy to go with her, some days he even smiles to us and waves bye bye. He has hit all his development targets without any issue even walking before 12 months so we can’t be more happy with the arrangement and we would not change this any time soon. So highly recommended!

My twins have been going to Cheeky Treasures since March 2023, they only attend during School holidays and most recently, when their Nursery has been closed during Strikes. Despite my children not seeing Yasmeen often, they have built such a great relationship with her and absolutely love going to ‘Yasmeen’s’ and I truly believe this is because of Yasmeen’s warm, loving and caring nature. My children feel comfortable around Yasmeen and I feel content that my children are being well looked after. I cant recommend Yasmeen enough and I am so pleased I found Yasmeen - she always accommodates me even under short notice. Thank You Yasmeen!

I highly recommend Yasmeen for her exceptional care and dedication to children. She brings a wealth of experience and a warm, caring nature to her childminding services. As a new parent, starting to take the kids out to the outside world, she makes it look so easy, and puts both parents and children at ease in helping them settle.
What sets her apart is her commitment to creating a clean, safe and nurturing environment for the children in her care including a lovely enclosed garden which my children thoroughly enjoy. She's organised, plans activities tailored to different age groups, ensuring a balance between learning and fun.
Yasmeen truly enjoys making children happy, and it's evident in the smiles on their faces under her care when I go pick them up at the end of the day.
