About Me
Hello, I’m Katherine, I’m from Wiltshire & my passion is supporting families & children to thrive.
A little bit about my experience. I have had a wonderful thirteen year long career in childcare, working with newborns up to five years.
I have had the great privilege to work alongside Midwives on a Maternity Unit, in the theatres, postnatal ward, labour ward & the NICU. I’ve been a Nanny for eight years, working in London & in Wiltshire & Hampshire. I’ve worked in a child-led & Montessori nursery & on a cruise ship, working in the children's holiday club.
I am currently a Maternity Nurse for a lovely family in London, helping with their newborn twins.
I have a baby-led, attachment focused approach to Maternity Nursing & working with families. I think it’s important to look at a family from an holistic point of view.
I believe it really does take a village to raise a child & that first magic, sacred chapter, the newborn stage, is where I’d join you & support you & your family with your new addition.
A bit about me. Outside of work I like to stay active, I play squash & go on hikes. My boyfriend & I are training for big hikes in NZ & the US. I am writing a non-fiction book & several children's books.
I am a very down to earth, friendly person. I love being outside & at home with my two bunnies, baking & being creative.
I am passionate about nutrition & am looking forward to completing a Postnatal Nutrition course in 2025.
I own a car & am happy to commute for the right family.
