About Me

I am a Primary School Teacher currently teaching Reception (ages 4-5) - I am currently seeking a tutoring job to work around my teaching. I am confident with the National Curriculum and Early years frame work. I have expertise in Phonics, Maths and English ages 5-11. I am also avalible during term time for nannying or tutoring

MY EXPERIENCE:

I have just recently qualified as a Primary School Teacher with QTS, I currently teach Reception (ages 4-5).

For the last two years I have been working as a nanny for two different families. The first family I nannied for are ages 3, 5 and 12 and I currently nanny two lovely boys aged 5 & 7.

BELOW ARE A HOST OF EXPERIENCE I HAVE GAINED AND LEARNED WHILE BEING A HANDS ON NANNY:

Able to be flexible and go into different homes every day and set a routine
Doing bath time with children and set bed time routine.
Taking children to the local parks and soft play areas- including play groups.
Reading stories and arranging activities appropriate for relevant age.
Arranging Play dates with relevant age’s groups and different local nannies.
Finding suitable Play groups for appropriate age groups.
Making healthy meals from scratch with healthy fresh ingredients.
Providing and supporting parents with childcare advice an experience.
Helping with light household chores around the house, mainly children’s washing and tidying up.
Taking the children to soft play center’s to interact with other children.
Providing emotional and social support for parents and children.
Paying visits to the library to engage in reading books and storytelling activities
Travelled on public transport safely with children around London.
Sole charge responsibility for children while in my care.
Making lunch and dinner for children and also batch cooking.
Helping and managing children’s washing and ironing.
Simple house hold chores, empty dishwasher and ironing.
Picking up and drop off at school and nursery.
Promoted and helped organise potty training with family with children.
Arranging and organising with parents and other nannies play dates for children.
Taking the children to soft play centers and other play groups to socialise with other children.
Organised regular trips to libraries to borrow books and story time.
Taking children to the local parks and city farms nearby.
Assisting and creating arts and crafts events for special occasions for presents.
Taking children for swimming lessons locally.
On occasions administered medication to children with consent from parents.
Pleasure in reading to the children - they love stories about animals and wildlife.
Organised and took part in playing games and teaching them to play and share.
