About Me
I have recently graduated in Applied Psychology with Clinical Psychology from the University of Kent. I have a real passion for working with children and am therefore beginning a part time Children's work internship in Canterbury in September 2015. I am also seeking part time childcare work alongside this to help cover my living expenses during this time.
I have always loved children and thoroughly enjoy both the fun and the responsibility and challenges that come with working with little people!
In addition to my interest in psychology and children's work I enjoy photography, running, all things creative, socialising and have a recent passion for travel having just returned from a trip to Uganda!
My Experience
I have volunteered on a children's team for the past year and am about to begin a Children's work internship at St Mary Bredin Church.
For the past three summers I have worked as a children's party host at Treasure Island, Eastbourne.
I was a Sonrise Programme volunteer for several years in Eastbourne, delivering one-to-one play therapy sessions for a young child with autism.
I volunteered at a primary school in Eastbourne for children with special needs, working as a classroom assistant.
I have four nieces and a nephew whom I have always been very involved with when back in Eastbourne for the holidays.
My Qualifications
A levels: Psychology, Applied Health and Social Care, Drama and Theatre Studies (AAA)
Distinction in Applied Psychology with Clinical Psychology (Bsc Hons)
