My Requirements

Not looking for now as we have hired a nanny...

We have a brilliant and fantastic nanny who is sadly (for us!) moving back home to Portugal at the end of July and we will miss her a lot! However, that does mean we need to find a replacement for her.

Our childcare requirements are primarily for our younger son who is a very active little boy. On very rare occasions both may need to be looked after for a short period (in the last one year that has happened once for about half an hour, so it really is only in emergencies that would happen). My little one has just been accepted into a lovely Cambridge-based Childrens' Centre for the 1-4pm slot, so it is primarily the mornings and early afternoons we would like covered.

We would like a reliable and experienced nanny for 30 hours a week, spread over five days mainly between 7am and 1pm (exact hours can be discussed). Our 5-year old is busy with school and activities and doesn't require looking after.

I work in London once or twice a week but work from home some mornings (and also do school runs daily) which I why I require care for the younger one even though I am usually around in the house.

We would welcome a warm, relaxed and engaging nanny who can play with the boy(s) at home as well as take them to groups and classes (the little one attends a Monkey Music class, a Kung Fu class and swimming a morning each a week), walks and develop a loving and lasting relationship with them. We would ideally like a commitment for at least 6 months, if not longer.

Someone who can drive would be a plus, but it is not a deal-breaker if not.
