About Me
I am a very happy and energetic fun loving young at heart person and live with my partner and 2 of my grown up children in a large 4 bedroom house in Wokingham. I love to cook foods from our travels all over the world and often encourage the children to get cooking with me which they thoroughly enjoy. Any excuse for a bbq or dinner party. We are always out and about as a family and with friends making the most of life!
My Experience
As well as bringing up 3 children of my own i have been an Ofsted registered Child minder since 2007. I work together with my daughter in law who is registered as my assistant and we make full use of all the local playgroups, libraries, parks, splash pads and local museums and farms for outings and educational trips. We have a separate play room in our home for the children filled with everything you can think of for their development and education through play from babies to after schoolers . There is also a large conservatory where we eat lunch/dinner together as well as many arts and craft activities. We have a quiet room for nap time in the day , together with a well stocked enclosed rear garden with sand pit, water play And ride on toys tents and tunnels etc. I provide home cooked meals at £2.50 per child of all tastes and cultures which the children love and often ask " am i on a dinner day today". I also use this as an activity so they are aware of different foods around them and to encourage healthy eating.
My Qualifications
Myself and my assistant have up to date paediactric 1st Aid certificates as well as Food hygiene and Safety. We regulary attend childminding courses in relation to safeguarding and EYFS to keep updated.
My Availability
My hours are Monday to Thursday from 7.45am to 5.45pm

Jo Jo has been looking after 2 year old my son for the past 5 months and he has absolutely loved every moment of it.
His language and confidence has come so far in the short time he has spent with her and the daily diary updates are so lovely to read as well as seeing pictures of my kiddo absolutely loving life and having a whale of a time.

Our two children have been going to Jo's for two years now and they love it. Jo provides such varied experiences never opting to stay indoors unless the Great British weather dictates otherwise. She spends a lot time developing early years education, following OFSTED guidelines. And she cooks great meals!
I highly recommend Jo for providing the highest level of care and dedication.
