My Summary
About Me
Hello Dad and Mom
I am a mom of two little girls of 2 and 4 years old.
I have more than 15 years of work experience with children from 0 to 7 years old I have always enjoyed caring for children and as a early years practitioner, I am committed to helping children achieve positive learning outcomes. I am comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Before moved in England from Italy I worked as Babies Room Leader in a nursery school, activities summer coordinator in a primary school, Museum Educator, before and after school practitioner and more jobs. In England, I studied for Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools and I gained experience as SEN TA before in the work placement and after under contract to Welcombe Hills special school, working closely with children of all primary ages (mostly with Year 1) in little groups or one-to-one. I worked too as early years practitioner for Polkadot Day Nursery and babysitter for children from 4 months to 4 years old. These experiences have allowed me to improve relationships with children but also support parenting and observations and management of work with colleagues. Empathy and adaptability I think are my strengths that I would like to share with the company team. I am very creative and organised and I am patient and enjoy teaching young children new things. Fundamental in this work is to have a professional ethic, relational and communicative skills, build a dialogue with anyone who takes care of the child (families, external professionals), plan as a team to support the developmental needs of children. Support the routines allowing the child to adapt and trust in a context other than the family.
I enjoy assisting children daily in the classroom and helping their teacher to implement his or her curriculum. I believe that my experience, as well as my organisational and communication skills, would be an asset to your school.
I have always continued to train professionally and my wish to learn has never run out. Bachelor (Honours) degree in Cultural Heritage Sciences, level 2 in Childcare and Master’s degree in Educational Services for Artistic Heritage, Historical Museums and Visual Arts throught which I gained the knowledge for the fruition of art also into school settings. My latest studies include certificate Level 2 in Principles of Working with Individuals with learning disabilities and Level 2 Understanding Autism which can make a difference in my future career with SEN children.
Always passionate about artistic workshops with alternative recycled materials, clay, sensorial using natural materials. In my career I attended music and drama courses for early years children.
Through my latest work in Claverdon Nursery and Preschool (worked with children 2-5 years old), I experienced in Montessori Method and this has been important for my theoretical knowledge, having read a lot about Montessori’s approach. Particularly interesting is how the Montessori method plans a personalized program of activities that strengthen the skills of SEN children within an inclusive social community.
I hope to have the opportunity to discuss the opening with you in person and I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully
Claudia Sitara

From the moment we met Claudia, we knew we'd found someone special. She took good care of our autistic twins while my husband and I enjoyed a night out at the theatre, and she exceeded every expectation we had.
Claudia's warmth and compassion were evident from the start. Despite only a few days' notice, she took the time to get to know our children, understanding their unique needs and asking detailed questions about their preferences and our goals. She was punctual, gentle and patient. Her genuine dedication to their well-being was evident from the start and put our minds at ease instantly.
What truly sets Claudia apart is her exceptional understanding of children with autism. Our twins can be a handful, to say the least, especially in unfamiliar situations. We expected our phones to be buzzing all night long, but ultimately, it was we who kept texting to check-in.
I should also note that Claudia's creativity in engaging with children is remarkable. She came prepared with activities and games, and it was heartwarming to see how she connected with them by name from the moment she saw them. There were smiles all around.
She followed bedtime routines and even managed to get one of our twins to fall asleep in under and hour when it normally takes us both more than two hours. She had a list for us when we walked through the door, detailing changes, what they ate and how much, any difficulties, and she even neatly folded their dirty clothes into a neat stack. And everything was just as neat and tidy as when we left, if not better.
Claudia is so much more than a babysitter. Her expertise, compassion, and dedication to our children touched our hearts deeply. We almost skipped the play due to our apprehension about finding a qualified sitter, but after speaking with her and reviewing her long list of qualifications, we made the right decision. I am so glad we found Claudia. We wholeheartedly recommend her to any parent or carer in need of a trustworthy, understanding, and incredibly capable caregiver.
Claudia, thank you for giving us the gift of a worry-free evening, (the first since 2019!) and for being exceptional with our twins. You've made a lasting impact on our family, and we are forever grateful to you. We're all looking forward to working with you again in the near future.
With the utmost appreciation,
Asmarrah Bedford
