About Me

Hello! I’m a qualified Early Years Teacher with a passion for outdoor learning and nature-based education. As a mother of 3 young children myself, I understand the importance of providing a safe and inspiring environment where children can explore, learn, and grow – which is why I’m thrilled to offer childminding services that include access to privately owned woodland area.
Children in my care have the opportunity to explore the woodland area, engage in nature-based activities, and develop important skills through hands-on, play-based learning. From building dens and tracking wildlife to outdoor art projects and sensory exploration, every day brings a new adventure that sparks curiosity and supports the holistic development of each child.
I am currently in the process of setting up my home and woodland area to start up my own child-led focused outdoor education childcare from September 2025. I am currently a Reception teacher, and was previously a childminder before being deputy manager of a nursery. I have experience from those different settings to ensure the time spent with the children is both fun and educational to give them strong foundations for future learning experiences.

I have worked as a Reception Teacher, Nursery Deputy Manager, and Childminder, gaining expertise in child development, the EYFS curriculum, and creating nurturing learning environments. My experience includes lesson planning, staff supervision, safeguarding, and building strong relationships with children and parents to support early learning and well-being. Passionate about fostering children's growth, I am dedicated to providing high-quality education and care.
