About Me
Welcome to Bumblebees childminding. I am a mum of two boys aged 11 and 14yrs old. I live in Portslade Old Village in a spacious 3 bedroom house with a secure garden.
I have been registered with Ofsted since October 2017 and was recently rated Good in my first inspection, I have experience of caring for children of all ages. I also have experience of caring for children with a range of additional needs including Cerebral Palsy, Downs Syndrome and Epilepsy and am happy to provide references to this effect. I have been working as a respite Carer for Barnardos for the last 3 years and currently care for one child one
weekend a month with Downs Syndrome.
My interests include walks in the Downs, running and football.
My Experience
I have raised two boys now aged 11 and 14 and as mentioned am a registered short break carer for barnardos.
My Qualifications
I hold a City and Guilds level 3 diploma for the children and young people's workforce awarded in Feb 2015
First aid Feb 2017
Brighton and Hove Council training in safeguarding and communicating with children with additional needs updated Jan 2017

My Availability
I offer care between 8am-6pm Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays.
I will be open during school holidays.
I will be closed four weeks of the year when I take personal holidays.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
I charge £5 per hour and this includes drinks and snacks, please discuss any dietary needs with me.
Any late fees and sickness policy will be discussed.
I also offer breakfast club and after school club for pupils of Peter Gladwin school.
Rates charged at £5 per hour after school
£3 for breakfast club.
I accept universal and extended hours funding between 9-3pm every weekday, hours outside this time will be charged at £6ph.
