I am currently working for two lovely families in Brockley, I look after three children currently, one of which is at school most of the day and two babies aged 1 and 2. The 2 year old is starting nursery on April 4th and therefore one family is leaving the share. We were hoping to find a new little one to join us Mon-Thursday. Hello, my name is Leah. I have a level 3 diploma in childcare and have been working with children for 12 years. I am 31 years old and I am currently working for two families full time, three children. One aged 5 and two babies aged 1 and 2. One family will sadly be leaving us April 4th. I am looking forward to meeting a new little one.
I have been with the current families for 2/3 years, looking after the little one by day, taking her to activities such as playgroups, play dates, parks, soft play and role play activities. At 3:15 I pick the eldest up from school, go to a community garden/playground with them if they want to or come back to one of their houses cook dinner and play. In the school holidays I have sole charge all three children. We plan day trips around what the children like to do/are interested in such as the farm, seasonal trails and play dates with friends.
Previously I’ve worked with three families as their nanny, their ages ranging from 1 to 9.
My role entailed dropping off and picking up from school and nursery, then have one child under the age of 3 throughout the day taking them to play groups and other fun activities.
I previously worked within a nursery setting, therefore I am aware of the EYFS and a child's developmental needs. I sometimes babysit for a family from my previous setting and have babysat for one of my current families.
I am an enthusiastic, bubbly, and caring person with a passion for working with children. What I love most about childcare is getting to know individual children, learning their likes and interests and creating fun, exciting activities to help them learn and develop holistically in a way they enjoy. I am reliable, flexible and willing to go above and beyond to meet the needs of children in my care. I enjoy working with parents to share ideas and create the best environment for your child.

My Experience
2024 - present I work for two families in a nanny share, three children in total.
2021 - 2024 I worked for two families in a nanny share, there are 4 children all together. I take the youngest to activities throughout the day then pick up the other three children from school.
2018 - 2020 I worked for a family as their nanny, working full time Mon - Fri. I looked after two children aged 6 and 3 (4 and 1 when I started).
From 2016 - 2018 I worked for two families as their nanny, working Monday to Wednesday with one and Thursday and Friday with the other. I looked after three children in both families at ages 3, 7 and 9 in one and 1, 4 and 7 in the other.
The first nursery I worked in was called Little Elms, I worked in this setting from 15th September 2011 until 6th February 2015. I then went on to work in a nursery called Graces, I started this job on 9th of February 2015 to 2nd March 2016. Since working within nurseries for 4 years I have been doing some regular babysitting for families who have requested.
