About Me
Hi, I am Mary, I live in Collier Row in a large warm home with a lovely big garden. I live with my husband Daniel and our son Alex who is 14 years old and who attends Marshalls Park Academy School. I offer funding to 9 month olds, 2, 3 and 4 year olds and I have spaces available at the moment! I currently provide care for before and after school children that attend Crownfield Infants and Junior School. I am a friendly, caring and reliable person who loves caring for children and watching them grow and develop through the Early Years foundation stage curriculum. I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder since February 2015 and I was awarded 'good' at my first Ofsted inspection and maintained 'Good' in my last Ofsted inspection in July 2024. I'm lucky to look after the children in a purpose built cabin at the back of my garden where the children can choose to play indoors or outdoors in the garden that offers lots of opportunities with a wide range of activities and resources to support their learning and Development. I take the children on trips and outings regularly so they gain an understanding of their local environment as well as social and physical skills. We often visit lots of different parks, Forests including Forest school, the library for singing and reading new books, soft play fun, gymnastics, playgroups and 'Little City' a role play playgroup. I provide activities to help the children develop across all areas of the curriculum which is the Early years foundation stage. We learn about different cultures, backgrounds, religion and diversity. I provide an inclusive environment for everyone. My Experience
I have over 27 years childcare experience and have an NNEB diploma in childcare. I also have a Peadiatric fist aid certificate and food hygiene certificate. My husband and I have a DBS check certificate. I have also completed the CACHE award in preparing to work in home certificate. I have worked in day nurseries, schools and children's center's gaining experience with children from ages 4 months up to 5 years old. I have experience looking after children who have special needs and those with particular medical conditions and allergies.

My Availability
*spaces available * I am available for part time and full time places for children from 6 months up to 11 years old. My work hours are 8am- 5pm. I offer a school drop off and pick up service from Crownfields Infants school and Crownfield Junior School. I am able to take funded children, term time only and during School holidays plus occasional days too.
