About Me
Hi, my name is Beverley Gous and I am a caring and friendly Ofsted Registered Childminder. I live in a quiet close in the Bedford area of Manton Heights / Brickhill. I am based very close to Edith Cavell Primary School and have three lovely children, who are teens and beyond. I have been married to my husband for more than 30 years.
I have a fully enclosed back garden and encourage physical play and plenty of fun learning experiences through a full range of indoor and outdoor play, arts and crafts, messy play, dressing up, cooking and baking activities as well as reading, singing and dancing.
We visit the library, often walk to Bedford Park and attend other local playgrounds / childminding groups. We also go on trips to local farms and activity centres.
My Experience
I have been a Registered Childminder since 2009 and have 30+ years of experience.
I am also able to offer FREE nursery funded hours to 2, 3 & 4 year olds.
My Qualifications
Clean Enhanced CRB/DBS
CACHE ICP
Paediatric First Aid
Level 3 Food Hygiene
NVQ3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development
Accreditation (to offer FREE nursery education to 2, 3 & 4 year olds)
I also regularly attend further courses to expand my knowledge.
I am a member of the PACEY and am registered with Ofsted. I have been given overall gradings of Good, (including some Outstandings) by Ofsted at my previous inspections.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
My fee structure starts from £6.00 per hour for a full time place, which includes some meals and all snacks and drinks.

Beverley has been looking after our son since early 2016. She has proved to be an excellent and reliable childminder. As first-time parents, she has helped us navigate the challenges of early childhood, from potty training to starting school. Our son always looks forward to going to Beverley's - she provides her charges with a range of engaging activities both within and outside the childminding setting.
She has been accommodating and flexible to our needs - including helping our son transition first to part-time nursery and now to school. As an only child with no relatives nearby we have been grateful for him being to stay in a semi home-setting for a bit longer when I went back to work. He has been able to interact with peers but also with both younger and older children which we feel has been beneficial to him. Beverley has been rigorous in tracking his progress and supporting his development.
I would definitely recommend Beverley.

I was very pleased about the childcare provided. My 8 months old daughter enjoyed time spent with the lady. I found the childminder very professional and passionate about her job. I highly recommend!!
