My Summary

My Experience

I have worked with children for the past 11 years. I began my childcare career working in an aftershool club in 2009 working with children from age 3 to age 14. I gained some SEN experience in this role as I was responsible for working one to one with a child with down syndrome and a child with autism.

I then decided to continue my career in childcare and began attending college on a full time basis to gain my Level 3 qualification. During this I have undertook work placements in a nursery school with a children from 3-4 years old and in a primary school with children from 4-5 years old. In this role I worked closely with parents family and assisted in planning alongside the curriculum as well as planning for children's developmental needs. I gained some Early Years experience during this period by undertaking a placement in a private day nursery caring for babies from 0-18 months for 4 months.


Upon finishing my qualification, I decided to moved to Italy to become an au pair for 2 months. I worked with Italian children, aged 4 and 6 teaching them English through song and play. Following this I decided to move to Paris where I worked as a private nanny . Whilst there, I was responsible for looking after a baby from birth and his older brother who was 2 when I started and his older sister who was 8. I lived in Paris for two and a half years.

I then moved to Manchester where began working in a private day nursery.

For the past 4 years I have worked in Early Years setting and as an early years setting manager. During this time I was responsible for improving my setting from a 'Requires Improvement' grade with Ofsted to a 'Good' grade, which I achieved in my first 9 months as a Nursery Manager. I also decided to set up a Forest School in my setting and have basic training on this.

I am currently nannying for a family on Mondays and Tuesdays and I am seeking employment Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays.

I am fully insured, have a full nannying DBS and Level 3 Pediatric First Aid Certificate.

I am OFSTED registered and fully insured.

My Qualifications

9 GCSE'S GRADE A-C INCLUDING MATHS ENGLISH AND SCIENCE

CACHE DIPLOMA IN CHILDCARE AND EDUCATION LEVEL 3

Level 3 Paediatric first aid.

My Availability

I am flexible with hours. I can work occasional weekends and babysitting hours.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
• Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)
