My Summary
About Me
Hi, my name is Debbie and I have lived in Rayleigh for 30 years with my husband and I have four children who are now all adults.
My Experience
I have been a Childminder for 24 years and have looked after children from babies to teenagers and feel this continuity of care plays an important role in children's development.
I received a 'GOOD' from OFSTED in December 2012.
I have a dedicated playroom which offers many learning opportunities for all children. I have a large array of toys from birth to primary age, many of which help children develop in both their prime and specific areas of learning. In addition, I have a stimulating outdoor area for all the children to enjoy an array of learning experiences.
I follow the new EYFS Curriculum so that I can work hand in hand with schools. I work very hard to teach children communication and personal, social and emotional skills so that they are ready to learn in other areas.
I am very passionate about being a part of the children's learning journey and feel I play an important role in facilitating their learning. I provide a high standard of childcare and an excellent service and I am happy to fulfil any requests a parent requires for their child or children.
I believe every child is an individual and needs to be treated that way. I work close with all my parents and offer help and advice with any concerns they have with their children. Your child would be welcomed into my home as an extended member of my family, with a home from home environment and treated with love and care. I offer a safe, secure and friendly setting.
My Qualifications
I am registered as a Childminder on the Early Years Register, the Compulsory part and also the Voluntary part of the Register.
My OFSTED Registration Number is 202770.

Awarded a top mark of 5 from Rochford Council for Food Hygiene

Our son was with Debbie for 2 years from the age of 1. The only reason he is no longer with Debbie is owing to moving away.
Debbie is a very caring and Oscar was very happy there. We are very glad that we chose Debbie to be Oscar’s childminder.
I would highly recommend Debbie as a childminder.
Debbie has minded Rose for 9 years, since she was 3 months old. Rose has been very happy with Debbie who provides a safe, warm, family environment. Rose has been able to socialise with other children and has developed her skills through play in a well equipped playroom. Debbie has enabled Rose to be creative by providing a range of art materials. There have been plenty of opportunities to play outside in the garden or to curl up on the sofa with a DVD in the cold winter months. Debbie provides Rose with snacks but she arrives after breakfast and leaves before tea!
