English as an Additional Language. Travel & Tourism specialist. Patient, supportive and creative approach, adapting to what suits the student best. Try to ensure that the lessons are enjoyable, using games where appropriate, depending on the age of the student, so that learning is fun, while the curriculum is still covered and objectives achieved. Have a DBS (CRB police safety clearance) certificate which is registered on the update service.
My Experience
Tutor primary English, maths and other subjects. Secondary GCSEs including maths, English. Support students to develop study skills, to organise their notes and develop approaches to retain and best use their knowledge and apply it to exam questions.Taught English as a foreign language for 4 years in Spain, then started teacher training (Primary PGCE) Teaching placements in year 1 and year 4. Taught drama in a primary school. Delivered after-school science clubs and worked as a teaching assistant/learning support assistant on a supply basis in mainstream and special schools, and in a pupil referral unit. Have tutored pupils who have been excluded from school, to continue their learning at home. . I am patient, creative and focus on individual needs and interests of the student.

My Availability
Very flexible. I teach English as a foreign language online to children and adults from overseas, on a timetable arranged directly with the families, a week or a few days in advance. Daytime, evening, weekend availability by arrangement. Happy to home school, to tutor to support school curriculum, to prepare pupils for 11 plus, entrance exams, GCSEs. Support adult learners with functional skills, university coursework and dissertations, development of grammar, spelling and proof-reading. Support business people to develop presentation skills and business English. Evening babysitting also available. Any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
