Lorraine is a fantastic and caring childminder. She has been continuously supportive to my daughter’s development and my daughter has progressed in all areas of her development. Lorraine is really approachable and flexible. From day one, my daughter settled straightaway in Lorraine’s care and has never once been upset with me leaving her. Lorraine has been so great with the transition of my daughter starting with her and kept in contact regularly by sending me photographs. She writes a detailed overview of your child’s day which is lovely to read at the end of the day. She has supported my child to get into a good routine. She listens to you as a parent and offers fantastic advice.
Lorraine is such a passionate and caring childminder and that comes across in all that she does. I would have no trouble in recommending her, Lorraine really is 5 star.
Thankyou Lorraine for being a part of my child’s early life. We’ve been very lucky to have had our time with you and we are grateful for everything you’ve done for our daughter.

Thankyou so much for your review it’s very much appreciated, I absolutely love looking after baby she is a little star she has come on so much in the last couple of months everybody who attends the setting just loves her.
Lorraine is a brilliant childminder. My twin boys have attended since he age of 1 and absolutely love her.
They have been nurtured, loved and developed throughout their time having learnt so many skills. Lorraine sets up different themes for them to enjoy and they run in each morning excited to see what the day has in store for them, from numbers, letters and stories to recycling, bees and the solar system - teaching them real life important knowledge. What planet we live on, what recycling is and alphabet phonics.
The play room has toys for all ages and is lots of books and learning activities. The ability to walk to and from school each day has taught them how to cross the road and be aware of their surroundings.
During COVID Lorraine has ensured the boys are safe environment, providing them with normality and accommodating everything during these strange times.
Can’t rate her high enough for the amazing start in life she has given the boys.

Thankyou so much for this review i really appreciate all that you’ve said, I have loved caring for the boys and will miss them so much,I’m so happy they have settled in their new setting, I know moving back to your home town must have been hard for you all but everyone’s fine now and the boys are happy that’s the main thing Thankyou again.
All my three children (Callan aged 4, Owen aged 6 and Ella aged 8) have been looked after by Lorraine since 2013 - the little one is now the last one to leave her as he starts school in September 2019. Lorraine is quite simply a very special childminder and I really cannot recommend her highly enough. She gives children a home from away from home.
All my children absolutely love staying with her and I think in essence that is because Lorraine loves children - she is so caring, kind and patient with them. Her facilities are excellent too: there is a dedicated and bright play room, a large garden with plenty of toys and a swing, perfect for the summer.
Lorraine is totally familiar with all the childhood development and learning stages and devises activities to encourage further learning. Moreover, she takes the children out to playgroups, parks etc.
From a parent's point of view I also find her really easy to deal with: she is highly organised, friendly and practical, flexible with childcare arrangements (e.g. swapping days), utterly reliable (never has any time off sick!) and works with you when you want to address specific aspects of your child's behaviour or development (like potty training or fussy eating).
We will be very sad when our youngest leaves - however, all our children still spend time at Lorraine's during school holidays, which I think says it all!

Lorraine is an excellent childminder, she is very proud of her children and what they achieve and in just 3 weeks of minding my little girl, my little Lucy has come on so much! (My daughter is a toddler) The playroom is wonderful, there are so many toys for all age-groups and a huge book shelf offering a variety of themes (Lucy is my youngest of 4 children and I've not seen a childminder with anything like any of this!) The kids have structure and they are taught good manners and you will really see a difference in your child! Lucy loves being there so much, playing with the other children. You can tell that Lorraine's heart is in this job and that shows with how much the children love her. The garden is very big, and there is a huge shed that is packed full of all kinds of different outdoor toys. There are slides, swings, cars.. and having seen the children in action, they absolutely love the set up and they love how much fun they have. There are lots of indoor activities and outdoor activities and you just know that with Lorraine, the children are safe, well fed (everything is organic!), offered a variety of toys and in such a clean cosy and warm environment. You can tell with Lorraine though, within minutes of meeting her, that she is all about the children and she is so enthusiastic about them and their accomplishments. The fact that Lorraine does ensure that the children have the best toys and learning things, is actually secondary to the time and attention that she bestows on all of the children. This is more than a job and that is exactly the type of place you want your child to experience, having used various settings for all of my children, I can honestly say that this is the best. Seeing my little one thriving so much with the other little ones makes me very happy - the children are always at playgroup, or up to some kind of activities. I can't recommend this childminder enough. As already mentioned, you will definitely see a positive difference in your child and Lorraine is a very easygoing person.

My little boy wayne junior is 15 months now: he has been with lorraine for around 5 months now and has developed in all aspects every day. Lorraine encourages him to develop his skills and interact with the other children. Lorraine not only has a home set up like a nursery but also takes wayne and the other children to the local play groups and parks. Lorraine understands the needs and requirements of all the children and parents. Amazing childminder to talk to and you know when your leaving that your child is in the best hands until you finish work and go get them :-)

Lorraine is a brilliant childminder, I really cannot recommend her highly enough. I know there are many childminders out there but Lorraine is special.

Lorraine is a very caring person and deals with the children in the most loving of manners. Her facilities are excellent, she's got a dedicated playroom for all the children with loads of toys and a big back garden which allows the kids to go out and play as mush as they like in the summer. Lorraine is also totally familiar with all the childhood development and learning stages and devises activities to encourage further learning.
