About Me
Hey, my names Danni and I live in Holbeach. I share my home with my two daughters who are 6 and 1years old. I’m an Ofsted approved Childminder in the Holbeach area. I strive to offer affordable childcare but at exceptional private day standards due to also being that mummy like many, who isn’t able to go back to work due to the rising cost of childcare and the lack of demand in our area.
About Me:
I have had 17 wonderful years experience in childcare with being part of management in a private day nursery and then moving on to a teaching assistant role for the EYFS reception at a local primary school, before I started my journey as a childminder. Im a great believer in promoting the benefit of learning and exploring through play. I plan and implement activities around the child's interests and their next step learning areas around the EYFS. Outdoor play and exploration is also very important to our setting.
I personally enjoy weekends away with my family and watching my daughters develop in their milestones (which is going way too fast).
My setting is available for potential new parents to come and look round and secure their space with me. I currently only have 2 full time spaces left for January 2024 as spaces are going quickly.
My Experience

Management of a private day nursery in Spalding for over 10 years
Teaching assistant in the Reception EYFS classroom at a primary school.
My Qualifications
I have an NVQ level 3 in childcare and also hold a level 3 CACHE Diploma in childcare.
Level 4 management in childcare.
I have been trained in safeguarding at levels 1 and 2 and I also have my first aid certificate and a DBS check.
I have food hygiene level 2 and 3 in catering
I have done various courses through my time as a childcare practitioner which involves things such as:
Understanding ADHD and Autism
beginning with babies
Fun on the floor birth to five
Mary Barlow totem pole training
Let's get creative
imagination around play
And other SEN training.
