About Me
Hello, my name is Natalie and I am an Ofsted registered childminder. I offer a safe and stimulating 'home from home' environment. This allows Mums and Dads to spend their day at work with the comforting reassurance that their child is safe and happy in my care. I have been married to Ian for 22 years and we have 2 children aged 18 and 16. I live in Hook on the Holt Park Estate.
I have a large and welcoming home and a super garden full of outdoor toys. I have a dedicated playroom, as well as a separate dedicated homework room, although the children have full use of the all the downstairs rooms, allowing for zoned areas where the children have the opportunity to access lots of different activities covering all areas of the EYFS.
My Experience
I am an Ofsted registered childminder, but I have a wealth of other experience working with children. I am a fully qualified primary school teacher and I have been teaching across the primary age range for the last 12 years. This experience includes 5 years working with Reception children following the EYFS. I have also worked in a language unit for children with hearing difficulties.
My Qualifications
-Bachelor of Science 'First class' honours degree
-PGCE- Post Graduate Certificate in Education
-Numerous child development, special needs and EYFS courses
-Level 3 Diploma in home-based childcare grade 'A'
-First aid (paediatric) certificate
-Food catering and safety level 2 certificate
-Safeguarding children level 3 certificate
-Child ProtectIon Level 3 certificate
My Availability
I am available for: 'full day', 'before school' and 'after school' childminding term time.
School pick up and drop off available at Hook Infant and Junior schools.
I am also able to offer pick up and drop off at Hook nurseries/ pre schools: Elizabeth Hall; St Johns; Hook village nursery; Oaklea House nursery.

Natalie had looked after my son, Charlie, for the last 15 months since he was a year old & I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a childminder. Within just a few weeks, Natalie was familiar with Charlie's character & ways & would do her best to maintain a stable routine similar to that I have at home so Charlie settled in & felt relaxed very quickly. I believe the teaching skills Natalie has from her qualifications & job, has also enhanced Charlie's progression & learning. As a mother you want to feel your child is looked after as much as when they are with you & I feel so comfortable & relaxed knowing Charlie is in Natalie's hands. She is flexible & accommodating to any unexpected changes & has great intuition in to any changes in Charlie's character. Natalie is a great childminder & I would not hesitate recommending her.
