About Me
Hi, my name is Izzy. I am an outgoing and cheerful 28 year-old, living in Halewood.
I have worked in childcare for nine years, starting at a nursery school in Bristol back in 2015, where I looked after children from as young as 3 months up to 4 years.
I then started nannying in Kent in 2017, and have since held nanny & mother's help positions for thirteen families, with children ranging from newborn up to 10 years old.
I love doing craft activities with the children and teaching them how to make different things - I don't mind getting messy! I also enjoy going on walks and exploring new places, as well as silly things like dressing up and face painting!
Additionally, I am happy to give help with homework and reading/writing for any children in school, as well as cooking and/or carrying out any house chores.
In my spare time, I enjoy salsa dancing, cooking & baking, drawing/painting, and writing silly stories & poems. I also look after my little elderly rescue dog, Foxy.
I completed Paediatric First Aid training in July 2017, and I have a full driving license.
I am more than happy to provide references from families I have previously worked/am currently working with.
My Experience
I am currently working ad-hoc hours as a nanny & babysitter for three families around Liverpool, with a total of five children. I began working regular hours for two of these families back in August 2020.
Previously, I have also worked as a nanny/mother's help for three families in Manchester and three families in Kent, as well as four other families in Liverpool. Between these families, I've looked after sixteen children.
Prior to nannying, I worked in a nursery school in Bristol for 1.5 years, caring for children from 3 months to 4 years old.
I have worked abroad, travelling to USA with a family and their 18 month-old in October 2023.
I have experience with newborns and children with additional needs.
I am more than happy to help with weaning, potty training, homework/reading, meal preparations, transport, bath/bedtime, housework, and other jobs you may need.
Additionally to working in childcare, I have also worked in a dental practice as a nurse and receptionist, and in catering.
I also completed a week's work experience at the Children's Trust in Tadworth, Surrey, in June 2014, where I both observed and helped to look after children of 1 to 18 years of age with different levels of brain damage.
My Qualifications
First Aid Training - completed in July 2017.
Full Driver's License - obtained in February 2015.

My Availability
I have laid out my regular availability in the table below, but I can sometimes provide more work in addition to this.
I can also offer regular hours on Mon/Tues/Thurs daytimes, but I would need to bring my dog along for these hours if possible, as we've not yet found a suitable sitter for her. She is very small, calm and quiet, and she's been around lots of children/babies before with no issues.
