As a dedicated and experienced childminder, I provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive. With almost 10 years of experience in childcare, I understand the importance of early childhood development and tailor my approach to meet the individual needs of each child.
I am married and a proud mother of two children, aged 12 and 9, and we also have a friendly little dog, Trigger, who is part of our warm and welcoming home. My setting includes a dedicated playroom filled with engaging activities and resources, and we are fortunate to have a park and green space just across the road, providing plenty of opportunities for outdoor play and exploration.
I care for children from 6 months to 10 years old, offering a home-from-home environment where they can learn, play, and grow. I also provide school drop-off and pick-up services for South End Infant and Junior Schools, which are just a short 10-minute walk from my setting.
I was graded ‘Good’ in my most recent Ofsted inspection, reflecting my commitment to providing high-quality childcare. I prioritise creating a supportive and engaging atmosphere that encourages learning through play, creativity, and structured activities. My focus is on fostering children’s emotional, social, and cognitive development while ensuring they feel safe, happy, and valued. I work closely with parents to maintain open communication and provide consistent, high-quality care.
With a strong understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, and child development best practices, I am committed to offering a positive and enriching childcare experience that helps children build confidence, independence, and a love for learning.
My Experience
I have been a dedicated childminder for nearly 10 years, working with a diverse range of children and families. As a mother myself, I consider my own parenting experience to be my greatest resource, giving me a deep understanding of children’s needs, development, and well-being. I provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment tailored to each child, and I continuously undertake new training to stay up to date with best practices and safeguarding policies. My experience has allowed me to build strong, trusting relationships with both children and parents, ensuring high-quality care and support.

Our little boy settled with Jodie instantly and loves going for the day! Jodie has a lovely home from home and makes our little boy so comfortable. We love our little daily log of his day and just couldn’t ask for more. Thank you! Xx

A beautiful homely home with a lovely childminder, Jodie is an awesome lady who cared for my daughter from 9 months-18 months, came on in leaps and bounds and took to Jodie straight away. Highly recommended

My daughter goes to Jodie full time, she loves it, she feels safe and just strolls right in when I drop her off!

My little girl has been with Jodie for 3.6 years and my little boy for the last 3 months. I cannot tell you how grateful I am that we found Jodie, she is just simply wonderful. The love, care and dedication she shows to our children is incredible, she always engages them in fun activities and is dedicated to supporting them make progress in all areas of their development.

I have had my daughter with Jodie for a few years now and couldn't recommend her enough.
She is alway doing something different with them and its a fabulous loving environment.
