My Experience

I have experience in sole charge, shared charge, working for single parent families and proxy parenting. I have looked after ages between 3 and 13 boys and girls.

• Running the household including organising activities for children during the week.
• Responsible for safety, wellbeing and their development.
• Providing supervision and constant care to children.
• Getting children ready and taking them to school every morning.
• Reading with the children and developing speech and language skills.
• Attended any medical appointments or social events with the children.
• Helping children with after-school activities like homework.
• Setting appropriate boundaries for the children.
• Washing and bathing children.
• Installing a routine within their day to day lives to be able to become more independent as they get older.
• Cooking healthy meals and snacks for the children.
• Playing with and stimulating the children to be active mentally and physically.
• Tidying up children's bedrooms and play areas.
• Planning and organising age related activities.
• Supervise children while parents are on short breaks away and travelling with children.
• Enabling children to work through discipline issues including de-escalation.
• Good relationship with parents to ensure the smooth running of the house and the children’s lives and activities.
• Handled all animals in the house throughout the year, including veterinary visits.
• Encouraged the children to be responsible for their areas of the house with support when needed.

My Qualifications

I continue to keep up to date with learning and courses through different routes. These include safeguarding, child protection and learning through play.

My Availability

Most evenings from 7pm and weekends

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour

£13ph gross in the day.
£12 evening.
£70 overnight if children sleep through.
