My Summary

My Experience

I have had a lot of experience working with children over the past 6 years. As part of my course I have been into three schools and taught. In my first year I spent 6 weeks in year 6, in my second year I spent 6 weeks in year 4 and I am currently doing a 10 week placement in year 1. Last year I had the opportunity to work as an unqualified teacher in a year 2 school setting.

I also have lots of experience with children with special educational needs. Prior to my degree I worked as a teaching assistant for a year supporting a child with additional needs. I have volunteered in two schools for children with learning difficulties. Here I supported the children in the classroom and also assisted the class on different school trips. In addition I have volunteered for a play scheme for children with hearing impairment, helping to run activities and supporting the children using British Sign Language as a form of communication.

I have also babysat for family and friends over the last 5 years.

Sociology C
English Language and Literature C

British Sign Language Level 1

British Sign Language Level 2

I am currently studying Primary Education BEd at the University of Winchester (3rd year).

My Availability

I am currently still working towards finishing my degree in the week but I am available at weekends. From the 22nd June I will have finished my degree and will be very flexible with my availability up until the end of August.

My Fees

I am very flexible with my fees. £5- £8 an hour would be lovely.
