I am a fun and energetic nanny, who loves the outdoors. I enjoy trips to parks, museums, baking, soft play and playing at home. I am a caring, patient, trustworthy, organised and dependable person, experienced in child development and a child's individuality. Having raised two children of my own, 19 and 21, I consider myself to be well-versed in a wide variety of childcare needs.
Being a parent I have a great empathy for the hard task it is to be a parent, i pride myself on being proactive in my role, taking the initiative and anticipating the needs of the family. I am there to support the parents as much as the children and try to make the role of parenting as easy and smooth as possible.
My Experience
I have worked in a variety of different nanny positions over the past few years, with children ranging from 6 months-9 years. I have had WFH parents, sole charge and shared care responsibilities. My responsibility have included, day trips, school drop off and pick ups, household help including cooking evening meals for the family and taking care of the day to day running of the household to allow busy parents to spend more time with their children or to concentrate on work.
I would say I have 21 years of experience as I am also a mother of two grown up boys, ages 19 and 21.
I also worked in the Disney store for 8 years, this meant I was interacting with children on a day to day basis, which I loved!
I am Ofsted registered, with full Paediatric First Aid certificate and DBS checks. I have also obtained my Common Core Skills and Knowledge certificate and am currently studying to obtain my Level 3 in childcare and education.
