About Me
Hi my name is Maninder and I am your local Ofsted registered Childminder based on East Dulwich Grove.I live in a Victorian house with my husband and 2 children aged 6 and 4. I offer a unique childminding service within a nursery setting but with a home away from home feel. I provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for babies and children.
I am incredibly passionate about providing quality childcare and education to babies and children. I place a very high emphasis on good manners and respecting others and the space around us. Above all, I want your children to leave my setting with the confidence and skills to help them meet the challenges that lie ahead in the school system and beyond
I also strongly believe that your child's first few years in the world are the most precious. Children develop very quickly especially in the early years, and home based learning is an essential part of their development. Children at Marvellous Minds childcare benefit from a structured routine with learning goals and objectives just like a pre-school or nursery, but from within a relaxed and familiar environment, with a smaller group of children and a sense of family.
Your child would have the enjoyment of 2 large dedicated play room's in my spacious home and access to my lovely garden.
I have access to local amenities such as the Grove Vale and Dulwich Library, local parks such as the adventure playground, Dulwich Park, the Horniman Museum, and Dulwich Picture Gallery.

My Experience
Marvellous Minds is a newly established unique childminding service. I am a proud and loving mother of 2, where i have gained my most valuable experience and knowledge.
I graduated in Psychology and Criminology and have over 8 years experience working with vulnerable adults and children especially young offenders and children and women who are domestic abuse survivors.
I have completed the local authority approved Childminding courses
I have an enhanced DBS certificate and a pediatric First Aid certificate
I have Public Liability Insurance and I am a member of PACEY

Maninder was the perfect choice for our first childcare setting for our 1 year old. Maninder has created a stimulating and nurturing nursery setting all within her own home. Our daughter settled quickly and was soon holding out her arms for Maninder every time we arrived. Maninder created an amazing bond with our daughter and we felt so at ease knowing she was in such great hands. Highly highly recommended!

Mani is an outstanding caring childminder. She had our son from 8 months until he was nearly 3 years old. The only reason we moved him into pre school was to be around children his age otherwise I would have kept him with her until school. She treats all children in her care as if they are her own. Her facilities are excellent and offers a wide range of activities to suit their interests both at home (monthly themes explored through wide range of creative activities) and in the local area such as parks, library, play groups and the wetland Centre. Having just moved into pre school they are amazed at how advanced and well mannered he is which is really a true testament to maninder. Maninders family are an added bonus with her 2 very polite and lovely children who were very much a part of zaks life playing with him and reading with him. Marvellous minds was everything and more than expected and I wouldn't have sent him anywhere else. We looked forward to returning.

Our son was with Maninder full time from the age of 11 months until just before 2 and we cannot recommend her enough! Maninder is a real life angel, she is calm and patient with the children as well as engaging, fun and caring. Raff developed hugely under her care and he absolutely adored her. As well as preparing nutritious meals and snacks for the children she organises educational and fun activities, with plenty of opportunity for sensory and exploration. If we could have kept Raff with her until he was 18, we would have! Her own children are testament to her skills, they would be without doubt the most polite and friendly kids I have ever met. As first time parents we are eternally grateful for the love and care Maninder showed our son and all the guidance and advice she showed us!

I cannot recommend Mani highly enough. She has created a little oasis for children in her home and really spends time getting to know those in her care. Her attention to detail is second to none- taking time to cook lovely meals for the children and ensuring they have a range of activities to peak their curiosity. Mani is incredibly warm, nurturing, flexible and attentive and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone!

Maninder looked after our now 3 year old for 2 years. We would have kept her here until school but the older toddlers were moving on to pre-school so we did the same.
Marvellous minds is a calming, inquisitive curriculum led nursery. Maninder is passionate about early childhood education and it shows in the teaching of the kids. Mara went from being a 14 month old covid baby to a confident, chatty, curious toddler and we credit Maninder with so much of that. She also sleeper trained Mara who three weeks in to starting with Maninder was falling asleep on her own at nighttime.
The nursery is the CLEANEST place I’ve ever seen. There is so much space inside and out to play and Maninder regularly took Mara out on trips to the park & the library. Maninder made all the kids feel like they were at a home from home and the communication (unlike most nurserys!!) is easy and clear. If you want a place for your child to get one on one guidance in their early years this is the perfect place.
