My Requirements

I have thought through our needs as a family, and have listed them below:
The general duties are: After-school run (with one or both children), taking kids to/from after school activities, (classes and playdates), cooking dinner, cleaning up afterward - kitchen and eating area, homework assist and bath time. If you are able to travel with us from time to time that is a total plus, and conversely, child care and house care in our absence while we are travelling without children. Both children attend school in our neighbourhood and have clubs and activities in the nearby vicinity. They finish school at the earliest 3:15 and your duties would be complete by 6:30/7. We will also need nighttime babysitting (perhaps 2+ nights a week if possible). Any babysitting past 7:30 would consist of very little other than simply being at home, as the children go to bed at 7:30 and sleep very well.

I currently am not working- this may change in the future, therefore I am also with the children, available and participant in their lives. I also do the school run and homework when available. Our nanny should think of these as part of her responsibilities, however they will not be singularly hers. I love my kids and am a part of their lives!

The ideal candidate:
- Has at least 5 years experience with young children
- Has fully fluent English
- Is honest and reliable
- Is self-reliant, active, warm, communicative, demonstrative, positive, encouraging, and fun to be with
- Is punctual, tidy and very well organized
- Is able to work a 5 day week
- Is willing to travel with family when desired/ care for children and maintain house in our absence

Candidates should:
- Be Ofsted registered or willing to register
- Be CRB checked
- Have recently completed a Pediatric First Aid course
- Be a non-smoker
- Have a valid work permit, if necessary, and valid passport for travel
- Provide at least 2 checkable references

In addition, it would be beneficial if candidates:
- Have experience of the Chelsea / South Kensington area
- Have a clean driving licence
