About Me
My name is Kelly Page, I am 46 and married to Greg Page. we have three children, Truly aged 19, Albi aged 16 and Poppy who is 4yrs old.
Greg and I work together.
We are ofsted registered and We were graded as ' outstanding' during our recent Ofsted inspection. ( Jan 19)
I live in Four Elms. This very rural area, lots of outdoor space.
My family and I live in the top part of my house, the lower part has three large rooms just for the children we care for. there they are given the opportunities to learn, grow and develop into wonderful people.
As a person, I feel I'm calm and friendly with a very slightly wacky side!
I'm very creative and enjoy all aspects of creativity. I also love to be outside, either in the garden or walking in the woods.
I also own 4 after school clubs and 2 pre-schools(Wellyboots Day Care Limited). At Wellyboots we offer children with opportunities for the development of the play curriculum. play is an aspect of childhood that I feel isn't given enough voice. play is something that is inbuilt in a child, opportunities to support and develop play is vital to a child's learning about the world surrounding them.
My Experience
I have worked in childcare and education since 1997, ranging from private day nurseries, a nanny,childminding, education support for children with disabilities, A.S.D, speech, language and communication delays and more.
When developing Wellyboots I had to obtain various qualifications in working with children and young people.
I have also recently obtained a degree in Early years and education.
