About Me
My name is Rachel and I have been an Ofsted registered childminder for over 18 years. My most recent inspection was Feb 2015 and my provision was graded good.
I live very close to Hurworth primary school and Little acorns nursery with my 3 teenage children.
I follow the EYFS and early year outcomes to monitor childrens development and progress.
My Experience
I offer a safe and caring home enviromnent for all age groups with plenty of childcare experience working closely with a local nursery offering me constant training.
Daycare children benefit from numerous trips to local parks, libraries, soft play, singing groups and toddler sessions.
My Qualifications
Ofsted registered good
Paediatric first aid training
Safeguarding level 1
Basic food hygiene
I have also completed numerous NCMA early years courses
My Availability
Monday to Friday 7am to 6pm.
Hours can be flexible and part time.
Term time and all holiday cover.

My Fees
Fees from £3.75 per hour, please contact for pre school daily and half day rates.
Day care children get a home cooked 2 course meal included in the fee, cooking and baking is a passion of mine and I promote healthy eating. Special diets can be catered for and discussed with parents.

Rachel has looked after my daughter for the past 18 months, since she was 10 months old. My daughter quickly settled very well with Rachel, and very much enjoys her days spent in her care. This made returning to work much easier, as I was reassured that she was being looked after so well. Rachel has been very flexible and has provided a warm and caring environment for the children under her care. I would highly recommend.
