About Me
My name is Sahar and I am currently living in Bristol with my husband and 2 kids where I am working as an Ofsted registered childminder. Our home is located in the Little Stoke area of Bristol right next to the beautiful Little Stoke Park which has a friendly and lively community centre. The area is generally very quiet but due to its location has easy access to lots of activities (e.g. toddler groups). The house itself also has a nice spacious back garden with lots of space to run around in and take part in outdoor play (including sand pit, water play etc.), in addition to housing a coop of friendly chickens and a kids snooker/table tennis table.
I am passionate about childcare and aim to provide a friendly nurturing home environment where children can learn, grow and play. Prior to working as a childminder I worked for a total of over 10 years in childcare in a range of jobs including 4 years as a Pre-school manager. All this has given me an extensive knowledge of setting up a relaxed, fun and friendly environment where children feel safe and are able to learn and develop.

My Experience
In addition to my own 2 children I have over 10 years childcare experience in a range of roles, working with children of all ages (from 3 months to 10 years), including time spent as a nursery assistant in a day nursery, a play practitioner and later a manager of a Pre-school. Further experience, was gained while volunteering at the local primary school to assist during sewing lessons, school trips and fundraising events (e.g. Christmas/Summer fetes).
All this has given me a wide knowledge of how to effectively support the leaning and development of children according to the early years foundation stage curriculum. Using this experience I have carefully set up my home as a friendly, welcoming and caring environment where children feel encouraged.

Available Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Sahar was highly recommended through several of my friends. As a first time mum, I was nervous leaving my daughter for the first time. However, Sahar made me feel comfortable with the process with her professional and caring manner. My daughter has been going for minimum once a week for over a year now. She’s very friendly and my daughter took to her straight away! She always provides several activities throughout the day including sandbox, walks to the park and a room full of toys and books. Sahar sends regular photos of laila playing happily throughout the day which kept me at ease. I can’t recommend her enough!

I was amazed by how quickly my daughter attached to her. She's very caring and attentive to her requirement with good facilities. My daughter loved being with her as she was entertained all the time. She kept me updated and informed of what my child is doing during the day, which made me happy and satisfied.
