My Summary

My Experience

I started babysitting sitting for a family for their 4 weeks old daughter and then when their childcare needs changed when their daughter was 4 months they asked me to work for them. I worked three long days a week and often more, from about 6:30 to 7:30 depending on the hours her mother was working. I worked for them for over 4 years until she went to school. I looked after her overnight and at the weekend too.

Then after the sole charge role I wanted to understand the structure and dynamics of a nursery and so I started working in a nursery in Ealing in the under 2s room.
This gave me a understanding of the EYFS and I went on courses such as health and safety and promoting positive behaviour in under 5s.

I then started a full time job with a family in ealing with two children aged 3 and 1 at the time. This role naturally came to an end after 2 1/2 years as their youngest child went to the school nursery.
Working with this family I am sole charge of the two girls and I am responsible for the nursery jobs such as the washing and sorting of the kids things.

From July to December of last year I worked with a family with a 3 year old and a new born.

I am currently working for a family in East Sheen, 4 days a week. I have been working for them since September 2020. The children were 8 months and 3 when I started.
I have also done a large amount of extra ad hoc childcare for families.
