About Me
My name is Chel and I have a loving household with my partner, son (10) step daughter (13) and our very loving springer spaniel called Chase (9). I have a big passion for childcare and safeguarding, and I love watching children learn and thrive to be their best selves.
My Experience
I started my childcare carer in 2008 and worked my way up from being a nursery apprentice to being trained as a deputy manager. Throughout these years I have had the opportunity to experience many different experiences. I have worked with children with special educational needs and new born infants. I now feel it is time to start my next journey into childminding.
My Qualifications
Level 3 in children's and young people's work force.
Designated Safeguarding Officer
First aid
Health and safety
Level 3 Child psychology
Level 2 food hygiene.
Forest School trained
Have lead toddler and baby yoga sessions as well as cook school.
My Availability
Due to just starting I have a lot of availability and look forward to filling the spaces. I can drop off and pick up from; Harnham Juniors, Harnham Infants and Puddleducks pre-school.

We were lucky to meet Chel and having her caring for our little girl. She is so gentle and kind. Settling in was a breeze and our daughter always gives her a big smile as soon as she sees her. She is very diligent and fills the day with so many entertaining activities. We can’t recommend her highly enough.

Chel was my son’s key worker at his first nursery. She was so good that when she left we remained in contact and she took him a couple days here and there. Every time he had the BEST day! I was always updated with pictures (I gave consent) and my boy never went hungry. He always slept the night after a day with Chel. Considering this boy isn’t a sleeper. She’s a godsend.
