MOTHERS HELP (live-out) 30 hours per week:
I am looking for an organised, polite, nurturing, flexible, active, kind, very very calm person, with strong attention to detail, to assist me with looking after my twins girls, support with household duties, help with shopping, cleaning, washing, ironing etc. The role is 50/50 childcare and domestic. I run a very organised, clean and consistent, but nurturing household.
Being able to accompanying us on some holidays and work travel is expected.
You must be professional, reliable, patient, organised, trustworthy, very respectful of my boundaries and home. When at work be very calm, happy and have a positive attitude, leaving your personal life at the front door.
Solo caring for my little ladies, while I’m working from home, at work meetings, school/ nursery pick ups and looking after the girls in the evenings.
Pet care well also be required (feeding and some walking).
Being able to speak Spanish (preferably), French or Arabic is definitely an advantage, but not essential. This is a permanent long term position with a pension. You will receive 6 weeks paid holiday - 4 weeks will be allocated by me, two weeks are flexible.
You MUST have vaild passport. Driving license is an advantage, but not essential. References, DBS, National insurance number, right to work in UK and a bank account. For the right person, I am happy to help you gain DBS, Childcare qualification level 2 and 3, Paediatric first aid certificate.
What times and days I’m looking for:
-Monday-Thursday: 7.30am-9am (6 hours), getting ready and drop off’s.
-Monday: 9am-3pm (6 hours) shopping, cleaning and helping with weekly meal prep.
-Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: 4pm-8pm (12 hours) childcare, pick ups, laundry, dinners, activities, tidying, getting ready for bed and general support in the home.
-Wednesday or Thursday: 8pm-10pm most weeks (2 hours), these 2 hours accommodate my work commitments and late meetings.
26 hours per week.
-Babysitting twice a month on a Friday evening/ night or Saturday or Sunday (anytime), both babysitting sessions will be for an average of 8 hours.
Average total hours = 30 per week for mother’s help at a rate of £15 per hour.
Starting week beginning Tuesday 27th May 2025
-From February 2026, in addition to your set hours you will also be required to do 3 overnight sleep in’s per month (Tuesday/ Wednesday/ Thursday in one week) to accommodate my work commitments. You will be paid an additional £180 in total for the 3 nights.
-Hours from next September 2026 will vary as the twins start nursery in a school and will have school holidays, you will work three full days 7 hours per day on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, anytime between the hours of 10am-10pm. (In addition to your set Monday’s).
Sorry for the long and very detailed advert, but it’s important to find THE ONE, and THE ONE to find us. This is a long term position and for the right person this could be well over 15 years of employment. I don’t know if this person exists but if you do, you do your job and you will be treated very well.
