We were visiting from the North and booked Maddy (along with her lovely daughter)to look after our 4 year old girl and our 5 week old newborn boy overnight in our hotel for New Year’s Eve.
Kids were very happy and were all well cared for including the night feeds!
Excellent communication, easy to arrange and top notch care of our children. Thank you Maddy we look forward to seeing you again soon!

First time for the 3 kids (5-7 years old) to have a Nanny and they enjoyed her company and were well taken cared of.
She is polite, friendly, very experienced and has a good positive energy. Definitely recommend her.

Maddy was the first non-family member to look after our 8 month old baby son, he immediately took a liking to her and was very happy the whole time. She’s upbeat and positive and kept us updated throughout her time. I would recommend!

He was a pleasure to care for.
My wife and are needed childcare for our ~6 month old for our Wedding day. We wanted our family members to enjoy the day and celebration without needing to look after the baby all the time so looked for a nanny to help out. In total we used Maddy for 5 hours before the Wedding to get the baby accustomed to Maddy, plus 5 hours the evening before the wedding then 13 hours on the wedding day itself! She had to criss cross London to look after the baby in multiple locations west and east.
The wedding in particular was an incredibly difficult situation to handle. It was a long day, and so much stimulation for the baby with all the noise and guests (180!). Maddy met us at the house to help while my wife was getting ready, then took the baby to the church, then walked her in the pram to a boat (since promised car ride couldn’t be provided due to a protest in the area), looked after her throughout the boat ride and then when we got off the boat took the baby to a hotel room away from the reception. What’s more - it was Maddy’s birthday! She took that time to work on her birthday for us.
It was an ENORMOUS help to be able to enjoy our day knowing our baby was being looked after. There difficult moments along the way given the multiple changes in location, and constant stimuli. Despite this, most of the day she was happy and smiling. And when we returned from the reception to the hotel room she was tucked up in bed sleeping soundly.
It’s a shame to read some of the other reviews of Maddy when our experience had been so positive.
On communication Maddy was excellent. At short notice I requested an additional few hours with her to look after the baby in the lead up to the wedding. She always made sure baby was warm, well fed, dry. No problem taking her outside in the carrier or the pram. There were no issues whatsoever.
I have no problem recommending Maddy for any of your childcare needs.

Maddy has been our nanny to our 10 month old baby girl for the past two months. From the very first day she's connected instantly to our baby. She is a very experienced nanny - comfortable and skilled with all aspects (feeding, nappy changes, cheering baby up when she's in a cranky mood, helping her with her naps, etc). She is also very energetic, creative and resourceful, coming up with fun activities for our little one. Maddy has also given us invaluable tips about establishing a sleep routine and giving us reassurance when we needed it. She is communicative and reliable. We would have loved to have Maddy as our full time nanny - only reason we are parting is because we are moving countries. Thank you Maddy for all your help! We will definitely get in touch when we move back!

We were in town for a wedding and Maddy came through for us at the last minute to care for our 9 year old and 6 year old. I’ve never used an online service for childcare so I was a bit apprehensive but Maddy had such great reviews and immediately upon meeting her, we were comforted by her warmth and friendliness. The kids had a great time and asked if we could come back to London to hang with her! ❤️

I'm an international mom of 3 and also new to the area. Maddy took excellent care of my 3 children while I was out for a while. She is professional, organize and patient. Best of all, she is a mum too and anticipated some of my needs and concerns without me having to ask! She also had fun ideas to keep the children entertained. Would definitely book again. Maddy is excellent and has been a real life saver for us looking after our 8 month old when we moved house and when I wasn’t feeling well.
She is clearly excellent with children and I’m always super confident that our wee one is well looked after in her care. She proactively takes baby to local activities and keeps me updated with photos and videos during the day.
She’s also kindly helped me out with the odd errand and kind words about my parenting always delivered exactly when you need them! Would definitely book again ❤️

Maddy was super approachable and immediately made us feel comfortable with her being in our home . She was brilliant with our 10month old son, who had not been left with anyone outside of the family before, and he took to her straight away. Maddy made the effort to play with him, take him to locals activities, and follow his routine. Maddy also had lots of great tips for a first time Mum, and was really great to communicate with before and during her time with us. We can’t wait to have Maddy back again.

I needed someone to help us out at short notice and Maddy was super speedy & efficient replying to me. She took my two year old daughter out and they had a great time together. I would definitely recommend her to anyone, she’s warm, experienced, reliable and my daughter had a lovely time with her.

going back to work after 4 years of being a stay at home mum was scary for me, especially as I have never had anyone look after my three toddlers except for family.
having Maddy as our after school nanny has been the best decision I have ever made for our family. my children love Maddy and her little girl and she really does feel like part of the family.
her communication is amazing and I feel confident leaving all three of my kids with her, knowing they will be safe. happy and well looked after!
thank you for being such a big part of my new journey as a working mum and always doing what's best for my children.
I could not imagine anyone else doing this job for me!

Oh Saarah! What a lovely review I love working with you all and you have really helped a struggsingle mum out your warmth & kindness is just lovely and I hope to be with you long term.
I'm a first time and older mother so I was extra hesitant and anxious having someone who wasn't family help out my dad to look after my son when I was away working. Added to that, Maddy did mention she was going to bring her daughter, so I wasn't sure how that would be managed. I shouldn't have worried so much. Maddy brought her lovely daughter Violet for the first few weeks (before she ended up going to Nursery the days Maddy came over) and my son got a chance to learn how to share more and babble with someone his own age. She also was patient with me asking and worrying incessantly about his sleep, eating, and all sorts. She also proactively plans activities and places to go, teaches words, talked to my son constantly and read books. She was able to deal with his quirks easily and was always lovely to have around. They were very good buddies and Francis often gave Maddy a hug and kiss before she left and happy when she arrived. If it wasnt for my dad being much more confident handling my son all day, we would still be using her. Thank Maddy! Francis misses you!! xxx

It was a great pleasure to cooperate with Maddy. We needed a babysitter for our wedding and looked for one quite late. She responded immediately and we managed to organise all details very easily. The kids loved her -she managed to keep my hyperactive nephew busy and entertained. The parents appreciated the break a lot.
Would definitely recommend her!

I needed childcare for my eight-month-old at very short notice and Maddy provided it with aplomb. She's resourceful, cheerful and has great ideas about how to entertain small children – not least with the help of her own baby daughter. I was very grateful to her for navigating a tricky situation and would recommend her.

Maddy has been looking after our 2-yr old son on an ah hoc basis for six months, and she is terrific with him. She knew how to establish rapport with him immediately, and she was quick to pick up on bad habits he needed to break around the nighttime routine. I'd recommend her without reservation.

We struggled with the idea of getting our little one a babysitter and are so glad we found Maddy. She’s infinitely experienced, unflappable and accommodating. Our daughter loves her and took to her the moment they met, which was reassuring. She always has ideas for where to take her and handles wake-ups and fussiness very well. We really like Maddy and are very happy to recommend her.

Wife and I from the USA on vacation in London with our 9yr old boy and looking for a date night. Never used a service like this and was a bit worried to be perfectly honest... leaving our son with a stranger. Maddy was prompt to reply to our needs, was on time, friendly and presentable. Our little boy loved hanging out with Maddy and said she was "a lot of fun"!

Maddy has been taking care of my son and daughter for a few weeks now, and I am extremely happy with her. Our schedule can vary week to week and she is very flexible and adjusts without any issues. My children adore her and she was always plans activities for them, even when they are at home. She is always so bubbly and happy, and I feel very comfortable leaving my children in her care.

Maddy joined our family two months ago and has quickly become an integral part of our daily life. Our two children (6&3) adore and respect her and we rely on her totally.
Maddy is 100% reliable, flexible and an excellent communicator. She is thoughtful and always willing to go the extra mile.
When Maddy is in charge, I know the children will have fun, be well fed and are completely safe. She is firm, but fair and I am very grateful to her for all she does for us.

The best thing I can say about Maddy is that my boys LOVE her. When I leave them in her care, I know that they are happy. She is very knowledgeable about childcare; for example, one of the very first questions she asked me when we first met was, "Where do you keep their snacks?" This is vital information that a parent takes for granted and which is essential to keep the kiddies happy! Maddy takes instruction very well, but even better, she is self-motivated. She often comes to my house with a plan about what she would like to do with the boys--a favourite is taking them out to the New River to see the ducks. If you're an Islington local, I can guarantee that Maddy knows about every single playgroup and playgrounds in the area--in addition to being current on many child-friendly attractions around London. My family are simply delighted to have found Maddy and I personally feel anybody who has her as their childminder is very lucky.

Maddy is a bubbly and charismatic nanny who took care of our 10 month old twins for two months She was easy to talk to and quick to understand our requirements, not to mention always in a good mood! She was also fantastically flexible whenever our needs changed. The kids took an immediate shine to her and she was full of great ideas on how to keep them entertained. We learnt a lot from Maddy and she really brought the kids on while we was with us.

Maddy is like a modern day Mary Poppins! A great mix of all the qualities you want for a nanny. We used her when in London temporarily to have our third child and she helped with our older two 4.5 years and 2 years. She has great local knowledge of the area and the daily activities going on. We will definitely use her again when we are next in London.
