About Me
We are a busy, loving, fun-filled household based in Ealing, West London within a few minutes walk to lots of tube lines, parks etc. We have a bright, spacious house close to cafes, gyms, bars, restaurants, child friendly activities (eg. Riding schools, libraries and parks) and lots of tube lines and other transport links and with a garden and off-street parking. The nanny quarters are on the top floor, separate to the family and with a large separate bathroom with a bath and shower. There is a large, fully-furnished double bedroom with a seating area and television.
My Requirements
We are looking for a Full Time, Residential/ Live In Nanny. You must be fully comfortable with and have experience in sole charge care and be independently minded. My husband and I work full time and are increasingly back in the office and travelling with work (though careful to ensure not at the same time so no proxy parenting is required). We are looking for someone who can take complete and proactive charge of the children’s schedules, activities, making sure homework gets done and school bags are packed etc. We are looking for someone who is able to drive (or willing to learn) and will provide a car. Paediatric first aid certificate is essential. Must be a proficient English speaker, non-smoker with the right to work in the UK and have good checkable references from previous families.
We have two adorable boys (ages 4 and 7). Both boys are in full time school locally. Hours are 7:30 am to 7:30 pm, Monday to Friday plus one or two evenings of babysitting a week. In reality you can expect that the blended hours are around 45 hours per week taking into account wraparound care during term time and full-time during the school holidays.
The job will include the usual nanny duties, including sole charge for the children, preparing varied, balanced and nutritious meals for the children, helping with homework and piano practice, organising appropriate games/activities/play dates, communicating effectively with us, keeping the children's bedrooms and playroom tidy and doing the children's laundry, dropping off/collecting from a local school.
We have a housekeeper who comes to the house for two full days a week and takes complete charge of the cleaning/housekeeping.
We are looking for an affectionate, organised, energetic, reliable and responsible nanny who will give the love, attention, enthusiasm and care to our children that we are unable to give during the weekdays. We are looking for someone who will be part of our family and a team player to continue to raise two secure, happy and thriving boys.
The children are both lovely, affectionate, well-mannered, highly inquisitive and energetic. They are obsessed with transport of all forms but particularly trains and buses. They enjoy playing all sports (football, rugby, swimming), going to the park, crafts, baking, having playdates and exploring new activities but equally love a cuddle and a story at the end of a busy day. Our house is noisy but full of fun, laughter and love!
We have annual family membership to London zoo and Kew Gardens. We also have a beachside property on the south coast of Spain which we regularly go to for long weekends and holidays.
Please do send me a message if you are available and if you think we would be a good fit for each other!
