About Me
I have four children, three with learning needs and one with complex medical needs. I am 58 years old and lived in MK for 37 years working at various schools.
My Experience
I have worked for Milton Keynes Council as a Specialist Teacher; Early Years and Portage worker for 12 years. I have worked with children with complex needs. ASD, Behaviour difficulties, various chromosomal disorders, Sever Learning difficulties etc.
My home support program is linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage. All activities are fun and motivational depending on the child's needs. A mix of child led play and adult led play. I also offer emotional support for families pre and post diagnosis. I have also supported pre-schools, day care providers across Milton Keynes to help meet the needs of children with additional needs.
I am also able to offer tutoring for children without special needs. I follow the school curriculum if appropriate using a mixture of child led and adult led activities.
