About Me

Hello, my name is Karen and I have been working with children for seven years. I live In the Llansamlet, Swansea Vale area, in a spacious and bright detached home. I am happily married to Mike and we have a lovely 14year old son called Lewis. Children are my passion and I love being in their company.

My aim is to provide working parents with a happy, safe, fun and nurturing home from home environment for their little/big ones!

Having been a working parent myself, I know how hard it is to find affordable and reliable childcare outside of the Monday to Friday 9-5 hours. My mission is to be "there for you" by offering childcare from 6am to 6pm.

I can provide childcare during school holidays also.

My fees include all meals, drinks, snacks, nappies, wipes, activities and outings.

I have a 7 seater car which is serviced regularly, has a valid MOT certificate and is fully insured for Child minding. It is fitted with age appropriate seats which are cleaned and maintained regularly.

Our home is situated in a quiet cul de sac where there is ample space for pickups /drop offs. We have good road links and are situated between junction 44 and 45 of the M4.

Our days are organised to allow for busy and calm activities, with plenty of time for rest and sleep. Activities we enjoy include baking , crafts, visiting playgroups, libraries, and outings to local parks, the Gnoll ,Margam park and Folly farm and the wetlands centre in Llanelli to name but a few!

We have an enclosed garden which is child friendly, with a dedicated play area, containing a play house, mud kitchen water sensory corner and many outdoor toys.

I have an abundance of toys and books, and I use the foundation phase as a basis for our play/learning.

We now have two dedicated playrooms with lots of fun toys and resources.

I will always be as flexible as possible to accommodate you and your children. I believe that working in partnership with parents is important.

I am happy to pick up/drop off from local schools around the Neath and Swansea areas.

School holiday spaces available and before/after school drop off and pick ups available. (Lon las welsh school only)



I accept Childcare vouchers, and I am registered with the 30 hours free childcare scheme .I'm also registered with the tax free childcare scheme via HMRC.
