My Requirements

We are looking for a kind, energetic and fun-loving nanny, someone who truly enjoys engaging with children, is full of energy and imagination, and can bring fun and laughter into our home.

The role is a mix of sole charge and shared care, as we both work from home at times so you must be comfortable working independently or alongside us depending on the day’s needs.
Duties Include:
* School drop-offs and pick-ups (must be a driver with own car)
* Care of 6-year-old for half the day (he attends school part-time)
* engaging in fun, active, and imaginative play
* Cooking simple, healthy meals for the children (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
* Light housekeeping: children’s laundry, ironing, changing bedding, wiping down surfaces, keeping the kitchen tidy
* Supporting with the family dog (e.g., letting out into the garden, light walking/help as needed)
* Keeping the home clean and tidy
* Helping with grocery delivery
* No Housekeeping when children are home
About the Children:
The eldest is at school full-time and enjoys her own independence. The younger child, has high-functioning autism, is verbal and thrives on interaction and play. He does not enjoy playing alone, so the ideal nanny will be proactive, engaged, and happy to get involved in role-play and games on the floor.

Required:
Patience
Confident driver with own car (essential)
Comfortable around dogs
SEN experience is a bonus but not essential – willingness to learn and adapt is more important
Open to candidates of all experience levels
DBS check

Days: 3 days a week
Tuesdays & Thursdays essential, plus either a Monday or Wednesday (flexible).
There is an option to work Fridays as well.
Tues, Thurs & one other day: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM and Optional Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Option 1: 27hours a week
Option 2: 35 hours a week

Salary based on experience + 45p per mile fuel allowance.
