About Me
I am a mum to 5 children 3 have grown up and left home, I am a Ofsted registered childminder I have been a childminder for over 30 years. I absolutely love my job. I have now had both Covid vaccines.
My Experience
I have had over 30 years experience as a childminder I have completed my level 3 in childcare have all the relevant training and courses. I keep up to date with training. I look after children from 12 weeks old until they start school. I offer a safe, happy, fun learning environment for all children to blossom and learn and develop. I have a playroom for the children to play explore and experience role play. I celebrate different festivals with the children, we do lots of sensory messy play, baking, building,music and story time. I have a safe outdoor area .I take the children to our local toddler groups so the children can mix with other children and make friends.
My Qualifications
Fully covid trained. l have a level 3 in childcare. first aid, safe guarding, food hygiene, outdoor mathematics,speech and language. online safety awareness training. are just a few of the training courses i have done.
My Availability
I work Monday to Thursday I have a vacancy from September 2024 due to children leaving to go to school. Term time vacancy ideal for parents only requiring term time childcare a student or the subsidised funding I offer funding for 3/4 yr old and if entitled the 2 year old .Please ring for more information.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
I charge a daily rate which includes lunch and snacks. I also offer the 2,3 and 4 year old Subsidised funding entitlement. And do term time only care.

I could not recommend Sandra enough. My little girl has been attending Sandra’s since she was 9 months old, she has come on in leaps and bounds learning lots of new things each day. My daughter comes home with all sorts of different crafts things each day which she is eager to show me! She has now just turned 3 and can write her name!! Sandra has so much patience with the children and also caring with them too. My daughter loves going to Sandra’s and is so excited to go!!
