Dear Potential families,
I am Ofsted registred nanny.

I have over ten years extensive experience working with children and young people including those with additional learning needs from birth, in the early years, primary and secondary school age. I have worked in schools, after school clubs in the community, institutions and in varied family home set up. I am also a Proud Parent, legal guardian of five, 3 over 15 years and two under seven with support of my husband.

I work in the comfort of your home and And happy to Tutor and support your school aged child/ren. My strengths are best displayed when working with children on the learning spectrum or rather, the exceptionally gifted. My experiences are built constantly through sessional care work within the local authorities, supported learning in schools and in specialist community centres and in as well as working as an early years teacher. I do have my learning aids and appreciate each child as a unique individual.

I am firm and fair with room for respectful self expression. I consider and appreciate overarching family setup, behavioural clues and allow responsible risks that builds trust with the child and family. I abide by the confidentiality clause and respect every families' wishes on how they bring up their child/ren to nurture in the best interest of the child and family.

I love the out doors, creativity/imagination and appreciate the satisfaction of seeing child/ren blossom in their own character. As I celebrate and encourage or facilitate their personality, wit/intelligence, I also influence and create room for challenges and support in their academics, physical, social and spiritual development. Of-course, as instructed and/guided by You; their parents or guardian.

I am kind, caring, reflective and respond appropriately to each child's subtle body language, reactions, needs and demands. A Strength; I continuously acquire over the years and topped up by the experiences of having my own children. This has enabled me gain children's trust in our initial acquittances and a warm rapport with the families over the years. I must admit, that my professional role has been most tested when I became a parent. I am open minded and keep learning that I have to constantly sharpen my bag of tools, smile and with a skip, I indulge into the most exciting job/role.

My registration allows me to look after two families (nanny share) and can have up to four children with due respect to age and needs in their home. I do not mind pets and I am flexible to fit into different family needs and set ups at varied hours.
