About Me
Hi I am Laura and I am a registered childminder with the CIW and I am also a member of PACEY.
I live with my husband Dean and our 4 children.
Myself and my husband are both DBS checked.
I live in the Rhiwbina area of Cardiff and i am close to UHW and Cardiff town center.
My eldest child is in college, my middle two are is in a welsh medium high school and my youngest child is at a Welsh primary.
As a previous nursery assistant and a mother of 4 with over 20+ years experience with children I aim to provide a safe, welcoming and stimulating home based environment for your child whilst incorporating lots of fun and activities into my daily routine.
I live in a spacious home with a dedicated playroom for children to explore freely and i also have a large garden and a wide variety of toys/games to suit all ages.
I love getting out and about and regularly visit different toddler groups, parks, libraries and outdoor spaces.
My Experience
I have previous experience in nurseries and with 4 of my own children i have had plenty of hands on experience with children.
My Qualifications
Cache level 3 in home based childcare
NVQ Level 2 in Early Years Care and Education
Paediatric First Aid
Level 2 Food Hygiene
My Availability
Term time only space is available from September 2024
Term time vacancies availiable.
Tuesday to Friday 7:30am-5:pm.
Drop off/pick up to Ysgol Y Wern
Available through school holidays also space depending.
Term time only care and holiday only care contracts are available.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.75 per hour
£5.50 per hour or £6per hour for before/ afterschool only.
Cost could vary depending on the days and hours required.
Discounted price is given for full days.

laura has looked after my daughter Maddie for a few months now. maddie loves going to her and I know she is in safe hands. laura always accommodates us and our needs. she does so much with Maddie no matter what the weather. I get daily photos and updates which, for a first time mum, is brilliant. she's just amazing. her kids are also brilliant with maddie.
