Excellent Childminder

Victoria has been looking after our daughter for over a year now, and it has become her second home. We couldn’t be happier with the care that she provides - she’s warm and welcoming, has a great selection of toys (that keeps growing!), and her flat is always immaculate.

Comparing our experience of nurseries with our older child, we have noticed that having a child minder has increased our daughter’s confidence in exploring new areas. We put this down to the great attachment they have - we have had no tears at drop off!

Victoria takes a very thoughtful and gentle approach to managing toddler behaviours. She is extremely conscientious and is very quick to take up new ideas or feedback.

Victoria knows the local area extremely well, meaning that she is never short of ideas for things to do. They spend their days feeding the ducks or exploring the heath, at local play groups, and at the many great playgrounds in the area. The outdoor area at Victoria’s flat is also perfect for little ones, as they grow vegetables, have little cars and other toys to play with.

Victoria also meets up with other local childminders so that the children can play together and learn important social skills.

We would highly recommend Victoria to any family that is looking for a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment for their child.

Vicky is a fantastic childminder :)

Our son Lucas went to Vicky's from age 2-3.5years and loved every minute. Vicky was brilliant at making Lucas feel safe, secure and happy. Vicky's setting is very clean & perfect for little ones and older/toddler children, with engaging fun & educational toys, and a lovely garden with outdoor play too. Also having access to brilliant open spaces and parks & the city farm nearby meant Lucas always had active days and spent time in nature. Vicky was really helpful around potty training, and was great at making delicious food that Lucas loved. Vicky was also great at sharing messages and photos of what Lucas had been up to in her care, and understood how this is reassuring for a parent. Overall, Vicky made our son happy, she is great at playing and doing creative play too like baking and painting - often in relation to the seasons and cultural events such as Easter and Christmas which is lovely. Vicky was a perfect childminder for the nurturing transition from being a toddler to starting nursery, and we couldn't have done without her!

Empathic, trustworthy and reliable

I needed to go into work for a few days, and needed a childminder that I could trust to look after my 6 month old son. It was my first time to leave him with anyone else, and so finding the right care was of utmost importance.

From the moment I met her, Victoria immediately put me at ease and assured me that my son would be in safe hands. She relates so well, not just with children, but with parents too. I had no worries while I was at work because she would update me throughout the day and hand over a diary at the end of it. She understood all my concerns, and made me feel like I could tell her anything.

As for my son, he immediately warmed up to her from the moment we walked into her flat. Victoria has created such a beautiful environment at home, filled with age-appropriate toys but also with warmth and love. She planned different meals and activities for each day with so much enthusiasm. It is safe to say that my son was very happy in her care.

If I ever need to leave my son with anyone again, I definitely hope Victoria would be available. I would recommend her without any reservations to any parents wanting the best care for their children.
