My Requirements

We are looking for a carer/sitter to look after our 7
8 year old son George who is Autistic and has fairly severe learning difficulty. George was non verbal until first lockdown but now has lots of phrases and repetitive speech. He also uses pecs cards to communicate. He is friendly, energetic and mischievous. He is not yet clean so changing may be required, if your unlucky ?. He attends a special needs school where is making great strides. We are looking for someone to assist in George's care. To provide assistance to Tammy during school holidays, respite when required and also some baby sitting to enable us to go out occasionally. This will be regular weekly hours but will be flexible at mutually agreeable times... really when feel, we need assistance. Care at our house at first and then if we are all happy and confident with the situation, the carer could take George out as he loves to be out and about more than anything. Preferably we are seeking someone who has the necessary SEN experience and who is able to take direct payments, full DBS is required. if you think this arrangement would work for you we would be delighted to hear from you and arrange to meet up with George.
