About Me
Hello, my name is Hope Broughton and I have a 1 year old son. I love being around children and playing with all ages. I am self employed working from home so my timetable is very flexible and I live close to Chelmsford city centre. I have previously worked in the charity sector specialising in international development and child support. Before my DS arrived I was working for UNICEF, and before that I was working overseas for a children’s charity in Sierra Leone. I am also an ex teacher and have taught all ages around the world and have specialised in Montessori and special needs education. I am very bubbly and lots of fun and I have a lot of patience. I have lots of energy and I enjoy keeping busy and being creative. I love the outdoors and exploring and I’m constantly looking for free and innovative ways to keep my little one entertained and constantly learning. Most of all, I am very sociable, smiley and attentive to children’s individual needs and interests and always work hard to build a strong and secure relationship with little ones.

My Availability
I am very flexible with times so I can do morning, day, afternoons, evenings and weekends. I can work around your schedule and happy to do one off childcare or regular. I can bring my son along if you’re children would like as he’s great fun and very cheeky, or I’m happy to leave him with my family if you’d prefer. Sadly I don’t drive but happy to walk or get public transport and I live in a great location in Chelmsford, which is close to the city’s centre/ broomfield/Springfield.
